Qualsafe Awards has recognised the invaluable experience and training that CFRs bring to the table. As a result, they've introduced a bespoke 2-day FREC3 RPL Course, specifically designed for learners like you who already hold one of the approved qualifications. This course recognises your prior learning, allowing you to fast-track your way to the FREC 3 qualification.

🧑‍⚕️🧑‍🔬🚑🩺 DO YOU WANT TO LEARN VALUBLE SKILLS, WANT TO WORK EVENTS, FESTIVALS AND IN NIGHTCLUBS, OR HAVE A DESIRE TO WORK IN THE AMBULANCE SERVICE.🚑 This is the first step into the Medical world as a First Responder. The QA Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care also known as FREC3 is a PHEM D qualification which is the entry level into being able to provide medical cover at events. The cost is £425 plus VAT per person (£510pp) This is a 5 day course being held at our training centre in Laindon, Essex (SS15 6SS), all days must be attended and sessions will be 9am-5pm each day. Available course dates: July – 8th-12th August - 5th-9th The course will run with a minimum of 4 learners and a maximum of 6 learners. Learners will gain the knowledge, skills and competences needed to deal with a wide range of pre-hospital care emergencies, such as: managing a patient’s airways, catastrophic bleeding, management of fractures, medical emergencies and more. Endorsed by The Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care – The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and fulfilling the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level D, this fantastic qualification is perfect for a range of roles in emergency care, such as: Ambulance Care Assistant (PTS), Community First Responder or Event First Responder and more. Learners must be at least 17 years old on the first day of training. Learners must hold a valid in date FREC3 certificate. The Learner needs to retake the qualification before the certificate expiry date to remain qualified. This qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide prehospital care to patients requiring emergency care/treatment. It is ideal for those looking to progress their careers within the emergency services, ambulance services, healthcare settings and supports specialist medical roles within law enforcement and security, energy and utilities, construction and military.

Our regulated and nationally recognised FREC 3, pre-hospital care qualification is ideal for those seeking a career in the emergency services, ambulance service, the event and security medical sector or those who work in high risk workplaces. Among the first to arrive at a scene, first responders typically include police officers, firefighters, and those providing medical cover at festivals and events such as Emergency/Community First Responders, Door Supervisors, Close Protection Operatives and Security Guards as well as those working in high risk environments including the military, power stations, agriculture and manufacturing.

This course is for people who are often the first to respond to a possible medical emergency. This encompasses Police, Firefighters, and medical staff at festivals and events. It also includes Emergency/Community First Responders, Door Supervisors, Close Protection Operatives, and Security Guards. Individuals working in high-risk environments are also catered for. These environments include the military, power stations, agriculture, and manufacturing facilities.
