A single day knife making course is a great way to make yourself an item that will last a lifetime, on this one day course we forge a small knife with a simple ash handle. A knife is one of the oldest tools ever made by humanity and it is one that invokes many emotions to people when they see and use it for a productive task. When doing a knife making course here at Bearded Pig Forge we will discuss the fine details of a knife and how they are made as well as the history of forging them.  On the course you will learn the basics of forging a blade and heat treating them in order to get the best results from the high carbon steel, we will also be learning how to fit and shape handles by using a burn through technique to attach the blade to the handle. Courses are £160 Per person per day.  I run a strict cancellation policy. If you cannot attend the date you have booked please contact me within three weeks and I will rebook your course for free, If you contact me after this deadline you will lose your place. Refunds are not available. No under 18s  If you have a physical gift voucher it must be presented on the first day of a course.

This gathering offers a peaceful, supportive space for you to create personal tributes in honour of loved ones who have passed. Event Highlights: - 🌸 Begin with a guided calming meditation, connecting your heart to the memories of those you’ve lost. - 🎨 Paint stones to honour your loved ones, sharing their names, memories, or symbols. - 🌼 Together, we will create a Memory Garden in nearby Westfield Park, arranging your decorated stones and flowers to create a meaningful space. - 💬 Return to the studio for a sharing circle with stories, reflections, poetry, and a warm cup of tea. Qigong is breathwork (Qi is Breath), it is an amazing way of opening and clearing the body, of making space for our healthy energy to flow. It allows us to stay relaxed and receptive without forcing or pushing. It is easy to learn and naturally attuned to your individual body and how it wants to expand, release and recharge. Breathwork is simply bringing our conscious attention to our breath and is one of the most powerful ways we have to change our state at any given moment. We are a Non-profit Community interest Company dedicated to imparting scientific knowledge to clients so that they can become active partners in diagnosing and managing their own problems. At this clinic we treat disorders such as anxiety, depression, phobias, alcohol and drug problems, relationship difficulties, work related stress, etc. We also work remotely and offer video assessments and therapy sessions. We prescribe medication such as antidepressants, anti-anxiety, mood stabilisers and antipsychotics. This clinic is also a therapy centre offering a number of different counselling and psychotherapy sessions such as CBT, EMDR, relaxation and breathing exercises, Mindfulness meditation, Biofeedback therapy and Existential therapy. You can download free of charge six video sessions on how to manage your psychological problems and also a digital copy of my book – Emotions and Stress: How to Manage Them. We at this clinic offer a cafeteria of choices of therapies and drug treatment.
