SLOW FLOW - QIGONG FOR WINTER

6 Week Qi-Gong Course For Winter When: Tuesday Evenings 6pm and Thursday Mornings (via Zoom) All classes are recorded so you can catch up in your own time. Slow your body Slow your breath Slow your mind When we slow down we give ourselves the opportunity to rejuvenate, to recharge and to harness our own life force energy or “Qi”. As we move towards winter we begin to turn inwards and connect to the power of Yin, the power of Water and the power of finding our own slow flow. In this 6 week course we will explore Qigong movements, meditations and breathwork practices to support this slowing down, giving us the space to connect to our Qi, to our subtle energy, giving us the tools to feel stronger, calmer and full of vitality. In Traditional Chinese Medicine we are entering the water phase of winter. The water element relates to the organs of the bladder and kidneys, our bones, our ears and our sense of hearing. The meridians of Kidney and Bladder run along our spine and the back of the body and when they are flowing well we feel supported by life, grounded and connected to the world around us. We can find our inner flow with ease, without effort or strain, enabling us to let go of our fears and move forward with courage. Qigong teaches us to come back to our bodies, to come back home, to a place of belonging that is inside all of us, a place of stillness in our the centre. Where we can better navigate life’s uncertainties with greater balance, ease, and steadiness. What is included: Six live 60min evening Qigong Classes on zoom Six live 30min morning Slow Flow classes on zoom Access to replays of all classes so you can catch up in your own time. Access to private Whats App group to share experiences and ask questions Weekly supporting material for home practice : – A Weekly video with a guided Qigong Practice or Meditation – PDF – explanations of each practice – Key acupuncture points for self massage Together we will: Learn a simple Slow Flow Qigong Movements to balance your nervous system and release stress. Explore the principal of Wu Wei – Release tension and move with effortless action Connect to your deep internal power – Learn to Standing in Emptiness (Wuchi) Strengthen Kidneys and support adrenal health Exercises to strengthen your spine and reduce back pain Clear the meridian pathways reducing stagnation and stiffness for increased flow and vitality. Learn self-massage techniques for key acupuncture points to release stress and calm our busy minds. A Four Part Health & Wellbeing Enlightenment Course

A Four week course held on a Tuesday evening from 6.00pm until 9.00pm. A deposit of £15 paid online secures your place and thereafter £15 payable in person on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Tuesday evenings (£60 in total) This course will be a amalgamation of 25 years experience of physical healing. Nutritionally, we will be looking at the foods that make us ill and the foods that heal us, the toxicity that burden our health and wellbeing and how to expel them. Who would benefit from this? Those with low energetic levels, inflammatory disorders, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, type 2 diabetes, cancer and post cancer, IBS and Crohn's etc and those who have a true desire to seek an alternative to allopathic medicine. A fantastic opportunity to learn the symbolic lessons of Health & Wellbeing taught and practiced by the native Americans and our Druid ancestors. 1st week- we will be connecting with the element of Air and our spiritual aspects. 2nd week- we will be connecting with the element of Fire and our physical body and nutrition. 3rd week- we will be connecting with the element of Water, it's healing modalities and how it connects us all and the emotional aspect of self. 4th week- we will connect with the element of Earth and the aspect of mentality. Hi, I’m Ruta. I’m passionate about helping my fellow humans to step into their power and embrace the world that you came here to experience. This work is very close to my heart. In my late 20s, I experienced a life changing crisis. It brought me to this transformational work and changed the course of my life. I was working hard to achieve my dream of becoming secure and to have a stable status and position in my life. Then, I got clinical depression that took me years to overcome. I wanted to know what was wrong with me, so I started to read about psychology, spirituality and emotional wellbeing. I found that I had a deep interest in the internal workings of the mind. I started a counselling course. Then I completed a post-graduate level certification at the University of Sussex. I studied in the system and field of traditional psychology. And I’ve started to see gaps and limitations in it. The more I seen it, the more I preferred alternative approaches, tools, and techniques. By working with people, I saw how at the root of every emotional block or problem, there is an unresolved trauma. I started to see how we, our parents, and our children have been and are still experiencing trauma. Sometimes by simple everyday interactions with other people. The problem is that none of them (us) were taught how to take care and nurture our emotional selves. Also, to that realisation, I noticed that there is unresolved trauma wherever you look. And that’s how integrative trauma models and techniques became the basis to all work that I do. That and re-education for emotional wellbeing.
