This is a gateway course for all further learning in FD&FA systems.

Learners will develop knowledge from the FD&FA foundation module and/or industry experience and apply this to the commissioning, handover, and acceptance of FD&FA systems.

This course will enable candidates to understand how to improve their handling techniques to avoid injury so it is particularly suited for those starting a new job, returning to work or who need specific manual handling training.

First Aid at Work is a 3 day course 1 day is delivered on line. If you are already qualified just choose the 2 day option to requalify and you skip the online element. The course is suitable for people who work in high risk workplaces and covers the worst case scenarios and some of the more common minor stuff and goes on to cover common injuries and conditions a first aider might come accross. Initial training: 1 day online learning 2 days in the Splat classroom. Initial training is a BLENDED course meaning that 6 hours of work must be completed online BEFORE the start of the course. Without this completed online element delegates will not be able to attend training and places cannot be refunded. Registration for the online element will be sent separately when booking is complete. Requalifier: If you have a **current First Aid at Work Certificate** you need only attend the 2 classroom days. You can choose this option at booking. First Aid Training at Splat is relaxed and enjoyable. We aim to help you learn and support you to get what you need from the day. There are some practical and some multiple-choice assessments but our job is to ensure you have everything you need to pass these easily. Please note that First Aid can be quite physical, you will need to be able to kneel on the floor to perform CPR and Recovery Position. Please wear comfortable clothing you can move around in, and, if possible, please let us know ahead of time if there is anything we can do to help support you and your enjoyment of the day.

A ½ day short City and Guilds 2393-10 course aimed at anyone involved in electrical installations in dwellings. The Government approved Document P (electrical safety) came into effect on the 1st January 2005. For the first time the mainstream work of domestic electrical installers became subject to the requirements and procedures associated with Building Control. Domestic Electrical installers need to appreciate the requirements that apply to building work they carry out in connection with their electrical work, and they need to understand the way that Building Control works and the procedures that need to be followed. This short City and Guilds 2393-10 course is to enable those involved in the installation of electrical systems within the domestic environment to gain an understanding of how electrical installations in dwellings must comply with all relevant Building Regulations and how electrical installations in dwellings can affect the building construction. Please note that this City and Guilds 2393-10 qualification is only suitable for those practising their trade in England and Wales due to their being different regulations in Scotland and Northern Ireland. The City and Guilds 2393-10 examination is a 40 minute open book pc based assessment and will be held in the afternoon following the course, with instant results. This is an International Driver CPC - 7hours course - Rules of the Road & Customer Service and it is suitable for LGV & PCV and will cover: Requirements, Speed Limits, SMART Motorways, Highway Code, Road Signs, Bridge Strikes, Mobile Phones, Sat-Navs, Traffic Accident Procedures, Company & Driver Image, Who Customers Are and What They Want, Communication Skills, Giving Good Customer Service. All courses start at 07:45 hrs and finish at 15:45 hrs All courses are 8 hours long with included 2 breaks of 15 minutes and a lunch break of 30 minutes.
