Paint A Piece" (Furniture Painting Workshop)  Join us at Space 2 Make and unleash your creativity in our Furniture Painting workshop. Our taster session offers you the opportunity to bring your own small piece of furniture to our studio and learn how to revamp it with the help of our experts. We provide all the materials and tools you'll need, including a choice of colours (250ml tin) of Frenchic Paint™ to transform your tired furniture into something gorgeous. No previous experience is required.  This is the perfect chance for you to discover a new hobby or improve your furniture painting skills. You'll take away inspiration, practical knowledge, and a beautifully transformed piece of your furniture! This is a set time workshop but if its not convenient then get in touch to book a time that suits you, and we'll do our best to accommodate this on a Wed, Thurs, Friday or Sunday. Join Helen of Evendawn Arts for this wonderful watercolour painting workshop. Create two beautiful Christmas cards. Festive Robin and sweet donkey. The workshop is aimed at all levels of watercolour experience from complete beginners. ( age 14 upwards ) The images will be drawn out for you on suitable watercolour paper, so there’s no need to worry about being able to “draw”. There’ll be some warm up exercises to begin, for you to get used to the paints, brushes, paper etc and that point you’ll mix your colours ready to paint your cards. Helen will explain everything throughout, including different techniques and ways to work with the paint, such as applying masking fluid and how to create a great background effect. please bring something to carry your lovely cards home - a tray or box would be suitable.
