Join lifestyle and streetwear label Stööki as they host their exclusive jewellery workshops at their studio in Greenwich. This ticket is valid for entry for 1 person for the date of the workshop session & includes the Brass 18k Gold-Plated Ring casting and finishing fee. The session will be focused on the creation and personalisation of rings and pendants and led by Stööki's jewellery technologist Nadia Abbas. In this workshop you will: Get an insight in to the jewellery making process Receive a wax ring or pendant template to customise with your own design Get a tutorial covering a range of jewellery making techniques The aim is to have a finished wax master at the end of the workshop that can be taken home, but there is also the option of turning your personalised wax ring or pendant into a finished jewellery piece. You will learn how to size bangles, how to solder, texture the metal, cut out a charm, and also polish your designs. You will be provided with all the silver required to make two stacking bangles and a charm to accompany them. This is an excellent starting project for a beginner. For those with more experience, it is an opportunity to develop your skills further. Join Wildside London in the creative studio at West 16th for a Christmas Wreath workshop on Thursday 12th December at 7pm.  Kick off the festive season by learning to create a gorgeous wreath with an array of seasonal florals. Our workshops are fun, immersive and relaxed and we provide all the materials and instruction to enable you to design and build a fabulous wreath. Attending a Maker Space session will give you an informal and enjoyable introduction to Computer Aided Design and Digital Manufacturing. We use only open source design software, that you can download and use at home for free. We have 3D Printers, a CNC Router, a Laser-cutter, a digital embroidery machine, and a 3D scanner, and all of them are available for you to use. Each module has been carefully designed to equip individuals with key skills for starting a career in this sector, broadening their industry knowledge, or embarking on their own journey with solid foundational skills. During the lesson, you will learn how to proficiently handle a variety of essential hand tools and how to distinguish leather types and understand their suitability for specific projects and techniques. You will gain insights into the technical aspects of leatherworking, including preparation, marking, cutting, gluing, reinforcing, skiving, debossing, and more. You will receive valuable handouts, curated lists of leather and tool suppliers for ongoing reference, and create personalised samples for your own reference.
