Starting with a photo or perhaps sketching a sea scape for yourself we will cut out pieces of fabric from the Stitching Kitchen Stash and apply them to the background using a combination of iron on adhesive and stitch. Further embellishment using a variety of threads and beads, buttons and sequins can be added using a sewing machine, you can use your machine for standard sewing or free motion as you wish.&nbsp;
The finished piece can be framed to hang on a wall or incorporated into another project.&nbsp;
Your tutor will be Hannah, the owner of Stitching Kitchen. She set up the business in 2017 to share her passion and skills in all things involving textiles, fabric and threads. Her courses are relaxed and fun, they are held in her Stitching Kitchen in Brackley, Northants where she provides a range of teas, coffee and homemade cakes.
What&#39;s included-&nbsp;
Full instruction from Hannah is included in the course along with all the materials you need to create your own piece of textile art. The tools and equipment needed will all be available to you. &nbsp;Cake and drinks will be provided.
What to bring - just yourself. Although if you would like to use your own sewing machine please feel free to bring it along.&nbsp;

Hannah owns and runs Stitching Kitchen. She is passionate about textile art and sewing, teaches embroidery, felt making, textile art, use of sewing machines, free motion stitching and basic dressmaking.

What does this course cover?
This is an online course for developing history leadership in primary teaching. This term, we will be piloting the course as an immersive programme covering the key elements of primary history subject leadership, enabling all involved in history leadership at primary to carry out their role effectively.
How is this course structured and delivered?
The course will take place in ten online sessions from January–May 2025. Sessions 1, 8 and 10 are compulsory to attend live. Participants will be required to complete a gap task after each session and contribute to an online reflection diary.
The other sessions will be recorded for participants to work through at their convenience, though participants are encouraged to attend the recording sessions live in order to make the most of the programme. All recordings will be made available on the course Moodle page within two working days of the live recording session.

GEOPACE LIVE BLOOD SESSIONS enabling you to draw human blood under 1-to-1 supervision of your tutor. You will follow a Competency Checklist, signed off by your tutor on completion.

On completion awards a Geopace Certificate of Competency - Nationally Recognised and Accredited Route to Competency - Live Blood Draws Certificate

How do I attend?

EITHER -
CLASSROOM OPTION - Attend one of our scheduled classroom locations, completing your Introduction to Phlebotomy Course over 2 days. You will also complete your Advanced Training at the end of the first day and your Competency Training at the end of the second day.

Our Introduction to Phlebotomy and Advanced Phlebotomy Training Kits are supplied at no charge when booking our virtual classroom training option.
If you would like to add one or both of these kits to your classroom training option then these are available to add at time of booking. Our comprehensive training kits each mirror the same equipment and supplies used in the classroom and both include detailed video tutorials, allowing you to continue to practice and "hone" your skills after you have completed your practical training.

OR -

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM OPTION- Complete your theory training online at home or work, then join us for a one day Zoom session to complete your Introduction to Phlebotomy virtual classroom training, followed by your Advanced Training in the evening of the same day. You have the option to add a classroom-based competency session, awarding a CPD Accredited Geopace Certificate of Competency, at time of booking.

Our Virtual Classroom option includes two very comprehensive training kits - one for your introductory course and one for your advanced course. Kits are included at no charge (normally £79.95 each) and are yours to keep and to continue to practice with after you have finished your courses. The equipment and supplies included in your kits are the same as those used if you choose the classroom option.

Please note - Competency Training
Our Route to Competency Masterclass - Live Blood Sessions can only be completed in a classroom environment. This is included when you book a classroom option. When booking the virtual classroom option you can choose to add this at time of booking. You will receive a voucher code to enable you to book onto any upcoming dates or locations. For most of our two day course we run our competency training at the end of the second day and therefore you should be able to complete your full training programme with us over two days.
