Hi, I am Sarah Owen, founder and owner of So More Than Yoga. I am a qualified Iyengar Yoga Instructor, Meditation Teacher, Reiki Practitioner and Infant Massage Instructor; my passion is holistic health. I have enjoyed working in the health industry since 2002. As an Iyengar Yoga Instructor I aim to inspire people to become more disciplined, enabling them to acquire improved fitness for mind, body and soul. Yoga has scientifically proven benefits to general overall health. As a Meditation Teacher I will help you reduce tension and explore the mind, body connection through simple guided relaxation techniques that will help you release stress and bring you into the present moment. A great way to charge up the body and calm the mind enabling you to have a clear and focused mind... just like pressing your 'refresh' button! As a Reiki Practitioner I also help people look after their inner health and well-being. Well-being is a balance of a harmonious mind, body and soul and I would like the opportunity to help you focus inwards which leads to samadhi, the state of bliss. As an Infant Massage Instructor I teach parents about the physical, emotional and mental health benefits of baby massage. The massage routine is simple to master and involves different styles of touch, movement, interaction and communication. A lovely way for both parent and baby to feel happy and relaxed. Sands exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during or shortly after birth, whenever this happened and for as long as they need support. Babies are dying every day. Currently in the UK, 13 families a day suffer the heartbreak of losing their baby before, during or shortly after birth. That’s around 4,500 babies a year. And an estimated 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in miscarriage. These numbers are shocking and show the scale of the problem. Currently, far too many babies die without scientists, doctors, midwives, or their own parents understanding why. That’s why we believe research is vital in improving our understanding of how to save babies’ lives and using that evidence to drive changes in maternity policy and practice. For more than 40 years, Sands has been here for anyone affected by pregnancy and baby loss to offer understanding and comfort through its Freephone helpline, mobile app, online community and resources, and locally through a UK-wide network of around 100 regional support groups. Sands works in partnership with health care professionals, trusts and health boards and offers a range of training programmes and bereavement care resources to ensure that every bereaved parent and family receives the best possible care wherever they are in the UK. Sands supports and promotes research to better understand the causes of baby deaths, improve maternity safety and save babies’ lives. The charity also raises awareness of baby loss and works with governments, key influencers and other stakeholders to make reducing the number of babies dying a priority nationally and locally.

Hi, I’m Angharad and I live in Hull with my husband Paul, our two boys Caden and Colby and dog Phoebe. Since having my sons, I longed for a career change that gave me more time with my family. With being in the hairdressing industry for 19 years I knew what I enjoyed most was working with people. After much research I found Tots Play. Not only had I found a class that appealed to me as a mother with all the variety it offered, but also made me excited at the thought of being able to help parents or carers develop their connection to their child with all the benefits baby massage, yoga, signing, music, movement and sensory play provides. I will also make sure you take away lots of fantastic ideas to carry on the fun times at home. Having my youngest in the first lockdown has shown me how important baby and toddler classes are, not just for little ones but for helping parents bond with their child, as well as building invaluable supportive relationships with others in the same situation.
