Come join us for an open-day style mini tomato fest, celebrating the diversity and deliciousness of one of our favourite crops - tomatoes. There will be two tours of the market garden during the day, seed saving demos, tomato tastings, food and more.&nbsp;The morning tour will start at 12pm and the afternoon tour will start at 2:30pm so if you&#39;d like to go on either of the tours, please make sure to arrive before whichever one you choose is set to begin.The day will run from 11am to 5pm. Feel free to come for as much of the day or as little as you like.&nbsp;The purpose of the day is to invite anyone who enjoys the produce we grow, to come out to the farm and celebrate one of our favourite crops whilst getting a better sense of where your veg comes from and how and why we do what we do.&nbsp;All proceeds from this event will go towards the continuing work of our Community Food Project - which provides subsidised veg in the local area to anyone struggling to afford the food they need and want to eat.&nbsp;This event is part of a project we are involved in with the Gaia Foundation Seed Sovereignty Programme. Trill Farm Garden is also involved in the project, so they are also holding a similar Tomato Fest on the Saturday July 30th. This workshop is inspired by the amazing Amoung the Trees ehibition at the Hayward Gallery which contained artwork about trees by artists all over the world! We will tell stories about these artists that you may not have heard before and invite you to create your own sculptures using cardboard.
YOU WILL NEED
Drawing paper
Something to draw with
Carboard (can be an old cereal box or amazon package: whatever cardboard you can find!)
Scissors
An adult to help you with cutting things out
Colouring in pens if you have them
Glue
Card tube from inside a loo roll

We would love to invite you to Art in the Park's ONLINE Life Drawing with Cuban born, Singer-Song writer: Jes&uacute;s Cuti&ntilde;o!
Posing live for us we will have Jes&uacute;s Cuti&ntilde;o, who will be clothed. Jes&uacute;s is an acclaimed multi instrumentalist who plays a dynamic mix of traditional Cuban Music, Latin Jazz, Spanish, reggae ,Ska &amp; Mambo.
In between the performance, Jes&uacute;s will stop for 1 to 5 minute poses for us to draw. We will also experiment with drawing him whilst he performs without stopping.
Materials needed: Any paper you have around the house of any size and any drawing materials - pencils, coloured pencils, felt tips, oil or chalk pastels, or charcoal.
The session will be mainly short poses of 5 minutes or less. There will be an experienced Art in the Park artist present who can offer advice if needed and will show artist inspiration but of course feel free to draw however you want.

This workshop is run by ART IN THE PARK: Art in the Park aims to involve people of all ages and abilities in designing and making art work at their studios and outdoor sites. Located in the centre of Burgess Park in South East London and run by practising artists, Art in the Park works with schools, community groups and professional teams on tailor-made educational art and heritage projects and training days. AITP also works with the public in creating permanent public artworks.

What is the AM2 assessment? The AM2 assessment is an industry recognised trade test designed to evidence that candidates have gained all relevant and safety-critical competencies during their training process. It provides a single standard that has been agreed upon by employers within the electrical industry, giving a reliable and trusted guarantee of safe, high-quality skills for the electrotechnical industry. Who is this for? This is aimed at apprentices who are coming to the end of their training for the JIB apprentice training scheme and the Installation of modern apprenticeships. This course is also for experienced electricians, specifically those who are looking at taking the experienced worker route (AM2E.) There are a range of assessments for candidates based on their level: AM2 – This is for candidates undertaking the JIB mature candidate assessments and those following the level three NVQ who isn’t an apprentice. AM2S – This is for electrotechnical apprentices who are training against the apprenticeship standard AM2E – This is for experienced workers who are completing the experienced worker assessment. Please note: this can only be taken once you have gained the experienced worker qualification, proof must be provided before booking the AM2 assessment. What does this assessment consist of? Overall, the AM2 is an in-depth assessment carrying out tasks to show what you have learnt on your training. It is a practical assessment with five sections (six for AM2E and AM2S) and a short online component. Candidates will be expected to install, connect, terminate, inspect, test, commission and diagnose faults, following installation specifications provided and any relevant statutory and non-statutory regulations on: A three-phase distribution board and subcircuit A central heating/sustainable energy system Lighting and power circuits A data cabling system A safety services circuit and device Installation of containment systems (AM2E and AM2S only) Candidates will complete timed tasks in equipped areas that contain typical electrical installation wiring systems – all work must comply with BS7671 Wiring Regulations, industry best practice, and meet the requirements of relevant health and safety legislation. The assessment will be carried out in strict exam conditions across 2.5 days. Do I need an AM2 certificate to work as an electrician? Apprentices must pass their AM2 test in their final year to complete their apprenticeship. Also, if the apprenticeship standard is not being followed, an AM2 certificate and a level three NVQ is required to gain a gold card. If you are already working as an electrician, you will not need an AM2 certificate. If you are training to be an electrician and are registering for your NVQ level three in Electrical Installation or Maintenance, the electrotechnical diploma now includes the AM2.
