Meet the team behind Wellbeing in Your Home Gosia Federowicz Yoga, Creativity & Cooking, Co-Founder of Wellbeing in Your Home Gosia loves teaching yoga and meditation, which she’s been doing since 2012 and has over 700 hours of yoga teacher training including 500h Yoga Alliance certified Advanced training. She’s been teaching corporate yoga and meditation classes since 2014, both in offices in person as well as via digital platforms. Her passion is seeing her students transform through yoga and meditation, becoming calmer, more focused and productive. Her yoga path has taken her through many different styles over the years, which has strengthened her own practice and her teaching, as well as helped her become a more confident person and lead a healthier life overall. Gosia is a mum to 2 year old Sophia and when not practicing or teaching yoga, she looks after her vegetable and flower garden, loves writing, mixed media art, baking and cooking, as well as learning Spanish and travelling. Her motto is ‘to just step on the mat and take it one breath at a time’. Zach Fairbanks Mindfulness Meditation & Aikido, Co-Founder of Wellbeing in Your Home Zach is a qualified Mindfulness Meditation teacher completing his training with Mindfulness Now recognised with the British Psychological Society(BPS). A bulk of his knowledge and experience comes through Aikido which he currently holds 5th Dan so Hombu at the World Headquarters Aikikai. Zach has been practicing Aikido for over 35 years and has travelled to the Headquarters in Tokyo Japan several times for regular instruction. Zach says ‘Aikido is a training system for mind and body. It has martial, spiritual, mental and physical fitness benefits’. There are many principles to be learnt and discovered though constant practice that can be applied in many situations of work and life – Connection over Attachment, Harmony, Centring and Shoshin – beginners mind. Essentially, Aikido is an embodiment of Mindfulness Meditation’ Zach openly suffers with anxiety and it can very often take its toll, especially when attempting too much multi tasking or chasing perfection. In order to help with this, Zach started yoga to compliment Aikido. Then, through yoga, he learnt to meditate something that is very much part of Aikido. “When I finally understood the point of meditation and practiced it daily, I became more grounded and centered”.

Maria has an MSc in Neuroscience from the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College, London. She has worked in prestigious scientific institutes throughout her scientific career, including The institute of Neurology, UCL, London School of Pharmacy, Imperial College and The Royal Marsden Hospital, London. She has been an author in many scientific publications, including a first author paper, which is recognition for her scientific research. Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, 2013. Maria has taught many medical doctors and students scientific concepts in biology, physics and chemistry. She has supervised them, and helped them pass examinations and obtain MDs and PhDs. Through her writing and teaching, Maria's aim is to educate others in gaining the scientific background to help them understand the importance of connecting the mind, body and soul with mindfulness techniques to bring them peace and balance in their everyday lives. The spiritualist Maria is a gifted third-generation spiritual psychic, clairvoyant, intuitive reader, angelic reiki practitioner, animal reiki practitioner, crystal healer, channel, public speaker, teacher and author. From a young age, Maria has been highly sensitive to energetic fields of places and people, and has been blessed with spiritual gifts to bridge the gap between science and spirituality, to educate others in gaining the scientific background to help them understand spirituality, and to bring them peace and balance in their everyday lives. Maria offers advice and angelic reiki treatments to people to make them feel balanced and energised. She is able to explain to them how their energetic aura and chakra system works, by explaining the biology and physics behind them. She provides workshops and runs guided meditation classes. Hi, I am Sarah Owen, founder and owner of So More Than Yoga. I am a qualified Iyengar Yoga Instructor, Meditation Teacher, Reiki Practitioner and Infant Massage Instructor; my passion is holistic health. I have enjoyed working in the health industry since 2002. As an Iyengar Yoga Instructor I aim to inspire people to become more disciplined, enabling them to acquire improved fitness for mind, body and soul. Yoga has scientifically proven benefits to general overall health. As a Meditation Teacher I will help you reduce tension and explore the mind, body connection through simple guided relaxation techniques that will help you release stress and bring you into the present moment. A great way to charge up the body and calm the mind enabling you to have a clear and focused mind... just like pressing your 'refresh' button! As a Reiki Practitioner I also help people look after their inner health and well-being. Well-being is a balance of a harmonious mind, body and soul and I would like the opportunity to help you focus inwards which leads to samadhi, the state of bliss. As an Infant Massage Instructor I teach parents about the physical, emotional and mental health benefits of baby massage. The massage routine is simple to master and involves different styles of touch, movement, interaction and communication. A lovely way for both parent and baby to feel happy and relaxed.
