Emergency First Aid at Work covering the full HSE syllabus Suitable for people with English as a Second Language and equivalent to 6 hours CPD This course is designed to give you the theoretical knowledge (and a lot more) needed to accompany the Emergency First Aid at Work 6 hour First Aid course. This is a convenient and easy way for businesses requiring an Appointed Person qualification to become First Aid compliant. This course is also an excellent annual refresher for the fully regulated FAW and EFAW courses to ensure you remain HSE compliant. This course is an excellent First Aid Training package for those with English as a Second Language to prepare themselves to pass a practical first aid course. The content also serves as an ideal annual refresher covering the full HSE syllabus plus head injuries, heart attack, asthma and much more. This course fulfils all the criteria for Appointed Person First Aid training, however a practical course is required in order to comply with the HSE requirements to be a First Aider. The course consists of illustrated step by step directions, flow charts, diagrams, videos and short test yourself sections fully compatible with all computers and mobile devices. You will be able to stop and start as often as you like and on completion you will be able to print your Certificate. It is impossible to cover all eventualities within this course, or to equip you with the knowledge and skills to appropriately diagnose and treat in unpredictable real life situations. The First Aid at Work training course, which conforms with HSE guidance, provides a comprehensive set of practical skills needed by first aiders in most workplaces, giving both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations. The comprehensive 1-day First aid at work course is ideal for those who need to be certified to be a first aider. The comprehensive 3-day First aid at work course is ideal for those who need to be certified to be a first aider in higher-risk working environments. First aiders are trained by a competent training provider in: • emergency first aid at work (EFAW) – at this level they're qualified to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work • first aid at work (FAW) – qualified to EFAW level but can also apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illnesses

It is highly recommended to do 'something’ to keep your skills up to date – as a matter of fact, this is a prerequisite of your First Aid Certificate. We run Annual Refresher courses, which is a properly accredited certification awarded by Qualsafe Awards. These are recommended on a yearly basis. In between that, it is still good to keep one's skills and knowledge up to date. Our special First Aid Skills Practice Sessions give you the chance to refresh your theory and/or practical skills. Whichever subjects you would like to work on. An experienced trainer will be at hand to show and explain. NOWHERE ELSE DO YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO DO THIS! CPD Accredited: These sessions are non-Ofqual regulated. However, they are taught by our trainer, who is an accredited first aid trainer via Qualsafe Awards, First Aid Awards Ltd and Highfields Qualifications. You'll get accredited quality either way! These sessions are CPD Accredited, so you'll get 1.5 CPD hours with this training.
