The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF) formerly known as DTLLS, is suitable for those who are in a teaching or training role and wish to obtain a degree level qualification. It is also suitable for trainee teachers as well as those who have experience in a teaching role. The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (RQF) provides learners with the knowledge and understanding of delivering education and training, assessing learners, planning in education and training, using resources in the delivery in education and training, and understanding the roles and responsibilities within education and training. This qualification will also allow the individual to apply for Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status. This is an online course sat at your own pace to introduce you to clinical coaching. During the course we will go into the concept of training a student, learning methods, tutorial techniques, safeguarding and how to use the Central Skills Log (CSL). The course is open for 2 months. Once completed we can then arrange access to the CSL for one of Abbeydale’s students.
