Edlin Consulting

My methodology and empathic approach allow me to quickly build high levels of trust and understanding. I pride myself on pragmatism, and typically achieve significant impact within three sessions. I aim for a healthy balance of challenge, support, humour and honesty. My role as your coach is to enable the very best of you. Together we identify your goals, set clear objectives and develop and implement an effective plan in order to achieve them. As a business coach, I have a keen understanding of the pressures, responsibilities and challenges facing leaders and entrepreneurs. It is often observed that my professional skillset is unusual – a lawyer by training but a businessman first – armed with a strong commercial and strategic instinct. I’ve amassed +35 years of experience. I had the privilege to lead, develop and grow high-performing teams, cultivating many leaders in the process, at three different London City law firms (Waltons & Morse, Eversheds and RPC). I adapt my coaching approach to suit your individual needs whether that be a non directive approach, or even include mentoring. I am an advocate of leading coaching principles including Positive Psychology and the StrengthsFinder. These leverage my own core strengths on corporate strategy, effective communication, positivity, people development, networking, responsibility, empathy and inclusion. All of which are at the heart of consistently successful leadership, both in the short and long term. My role as your coach is to enable the very best of you. Together we identify your goals, set clear objectives and develop and implement an effective plan in order to achieve them.

Liz Lilley

liz lilley

Brighton

Liz is passionate about supporting and empowering people to move through areas of restriction in their lives. When we are recognised, witnessed, and understood as individuals, in a safe, non-judgemental space, we can integrate all the strengths and vulnerabilities we encompass. Experiencing a compassionate relationship is a foundation to be able to identify, feel and heal the challenges you face, be the best version of yourself, whatever that may look like, and thrive.   Liz Lilley is a Humanistic Psychotherapist, Massage Therapist and Breathwork Facilitator. She also  provides Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy on Clinical Trials using psilocybin in the UK, integrating her professional experience from all her passions into her therapeutic practice. After many years of working with the body and witnessing the somatic release of trauma Liz went on to study psychotherapy in order to bring her knowledge of the mind-body in line with her experiences.  She has supported thousands of people through bodywork and counselling yet felt there was a missing piece of the puzzle to her offerings. Then she discovered simple and powerful breathwork techniques, had some deeply profound personal experiences and went on to become a trained Breathwork Facilitator, completing the puzzle.  Liz now holds group and one-to-one sessions online and in-person combining these practices to enhance the healing potential of unifying Body, Mind and Breath. Liz has an ongoing interest in expanded states including breathwork, meditation, psychedelics and shamanic journeying as tools and openings that enhance self-awareness, creativity, connection and therapeutic release. Her experiences in these practices have informed her focus on the integration of her client’s exploration into the Body, Mind and Breath.  She believes that with focus, intention and integration we can prolong the benefits of the work we do on ourselves. Liz has held sharing circles, worked in young people’s mental health and with refugees and has supported people who have experienced domestic abuse and homelessness. Liz developed a special interest in working as a Psychedelic-Integration Psychotherapist and is on the Advisory Board and is the Project Lead for Growthful Networks, the community area for the Institute of Psychedelic Therapy as well as a registered practitioner on their database. She has also faciltated breathwork sessions for the therapists training for the DMT for Depression clinical trial and provides Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy on clinical trial research for psilocybin for mental health conditions.

Women's Life Coach, Julie Phillips

women's life coach, julie phillips

Sussex,

Choosing a coach is an important decision. You need someone that you trust and makes you feel safe. A person whose style serves and works for you. This is life changing, so it’s essential that you feel secure, understood supported and excited! If you are looking for a coach who is genuinely caring and kind but will also be brutally honest with you so that you can truly develop and achieve the life you desire, then read on…. I love what I do! Coaching is the most potent tool for positive personal change as I have experienced first hand. It ensures success and makes change stick in the long term. As a coach, I play the role of mentor, consultant and motivator, but I am not a therapist. The thing I enjoy most about coaching is that it is always positive and looking forward at the ‘how’: how you can move on from where you are and make a change? It is action orientated and concerned with the present and future, and less with the past. On a personal level, I have always been passionate about helping people live the life they envisage, both successful and happy. I believe the two are directly linked. My coaching style offers a balanced combination of challenge and support with the aim of raising a client’s self-awareness, including the impact they have on people around them. As a coach, I help individuals and teams gain clarity, feel empowered and achieve their greatest dreams by helping them unlock their best potential! Having gone through many life journeys of my own, and realising that it is only you that is in the driving seat. It has spurred me on to help other people with their own self-development and to truly live their best life. I work together to identify personal strengths, areas for development, and help to eliminate self-doubt and limiting beliefs. In addition to personal training, I specialise in working with senior management teams in family businesses, to maximise their strengths, help them meet their potential and reach both their professional and personal goals. Having previously worked as an MD, I bring this experience to my coaching practice, supporting clients to achieve positive changes in their productivity, leadership skills, time management, motivation, confidence, goal attainment and work/life balance. I understand the demands of a family business and the pressures faced by owners and their management teams. I am able to help leaders make the direct link between personal happiness and business success. Before setting up my coaching practice, I worked for the past 24 years within successful SME family businesses. I have been involved in significant turnaround situations; undergoing change management projects and building a business up from grassroots. I am experienced in personal development and understand the challenging pressures of being an entrepreneur. Drawing on my experience as a leader and a coach, I am able to help leaders and their teams find solutions for the challenges and opportunities in their working life. Family is core to me and being a single parent to three wonderful children, ranging from teenage to twenties am able to counsel on a variety of family issues. I enjoy tackling new challenges, the next being Base Camp Everest.

Newport Girls' High School Academy

newport girls' high school academy

Shropshire

From the Headteacher, Michael Scott May I extend a warm welcome to our website. Newport Girls’ High School offers an all-round education with considerable strengths both inside and beyond the classroom. We support students academically to achieve their potential, whilst also developing resilience and promoting emotional wellbeing. As a relatively small school, there is a real family-feel to NGHS and our house system affords students the chance to meet peers in other year groups and to participate in healthy competition in a wide range of disciplines. There is an extra-curricular activity to suit all tastes at NGHS and staff work exceptionally hard to provide these opportunities for our students. We also organise a number of key open events during the academic year and welcome visitors to see all that NGHS has to offer. Our curriculum is academically rigorous with all students studying two modern languages in KS3 and separate sciences at GCSE. Some students also study Further Maths as an additional equivalent GCSE. At A-level we offer a full range of subjects to enable progression to university, apprenticeship or employment. Significant support with UCAS applications is available to all. Our pastoral team, comprising both teaching Heads of Year, SENDCO and non-teaching support staff ensure that our students’ individual needs are met and we work closely with families and primary schools to ensure a smooth transfer from Year 6. Newport Girls’ High School was visited by Ofsted in October 2019 for a section 8 inspection. We are delighted to have retained our outstanding status as a result of this visit under the revised Ofsted framework.

90Minutemusic

90minutemusic

Doncaster

We began our journey from a point of adversity. In 2013, after witnessing a family member suffer significant trauma, we decided to look at ways in which we could use our experience, to help young people in difficult and challenging situations. We began by volunteering, I (Simon) volunteered for the youth service where I worked with young people on referrals from Childrens Services for a year. Louise began by training to be a breastfeeding peer support worker and through this met inspirational healthcare professionals, who signposted her to further training. Now a qualified R.N. and holding a BSc Honours degree she has fulfilled her ambition. As modern nursing adopts a more holistic approach, we began to draw on this knowledge to provide a more valuable service to the young people we work with. We began to study experts in neuroscience who had a particular interest in music like Dr Wendy Mcghee, and Dr Ani Patel, as well as studying the strengths and weaknesses of using technology to support our sessions. We found that Music in general is a powerful and versatile way of supporting young people with not only their development of essential skills, like listening and team work, but over the years, we have recognised a particular advantage when supporting young people who may have become disengaged with education, or have Specific Learning Difficulties. We have a strong philosophy that health and education go hand in hand and we are proud to harness music and technology to share that message, something which is unique to us, that could not have happened without facing our challenges and informing our own personal development.
