To give you a good understanding of the long medical journeys a trans person undergoes, together with an understanding of the reference terms in common use, including language and terminology, cis-gender, non-binary, intersex, the pathways from M to F and F to M with the key stages in each pathway, the lived experiences of the facilitators plus a short life story video, LGBT facts, gender clinics, how to support a trans child, equality in the workplace, the laws surrounding gender and equality and how they affect you, and so much more…… Who is this course for? Everyone is the simple answer. Everyone and particularly those in a public-facing role, be that the police or other emergency services, to business managers, ship captains and shop floor workers. What will it cost? Both face to face and Teams presentations are charged at the same rates, which are very competitive. Face to face would incur travel and accommodation etc, as applicable How large are the groups? We will only normally accept a maximum of 20 people in each presentation, as this allows everyone the opportunity for questions, and allows us to keep to the 4 hour duration. We can, however, work with larger groups by negotiation, typically up to a total of 50 people. How will I benefit from this course? This presentation is delivered as a face to face session for businesses and organisations around the UK. Alternatively it can be delivered using Teams. There is a lot of hatred towards the trans community, will I get harangued? Yes, there is hatred but by educating people on this subject we aim to achieve a more inclusive society, not just in the UK, but around the world also. This session is aimed at vets new to the Welsh Government funded Animal Health and Welfare workshops programme, as well as those that have delivered workshops in the past but need a refresher session. It is one of the required steps for vets to become approved to deliver these workshops. Join us to learn about the modules that we offer and the format by which our workshops run. We will also provide some basic tips on how to run a successful workshop. Admin members of staff are also welcome to join us to learn about the functionality of the portal/site and the administrative work involved in running a workshop.

I'd like to invite you to my workshop where we will be sharing the uses and benefits of using doTERRA essential oils for autism and sensory needs disorders, this workshop is not where we diagnose a treatment or cure for autism, we always recommend you to speak to a medical professional, but it is a workshop where we can learn, share and experience how customers and colleagues in our community have been using essential oils to support their children and themselves. You will learn how safe, and effective essential oils are and you will learn ideas that have been successfully used by both parents and children. We recognise and will discuss something we call 'triggers', example 'triggering' situations, a visit to the supermarket or getting dressed, a change to routine. How essential oils can be used daily as a routine and when to use them when there are signs of a 'trigger'. Also, suggestions that can help when full blow 'triggers' are happening, often referred to as 'meltdown'. Essential oils are not only supportive, but they are also empowering. It is not expected that candidates working in this industry all do the same activities so the qualification has been developed to allow opportunities for those carrying out work in any one of the following broad categories: solid basic plastering, solid full plastering, basic fibrous plastering and full fibrous plastering. Those taking the qualification must also prove knowledge and competence in working at heights, calculating quantities and wastage and the use of powered and hand tools and equipment. All work completed must be done in accordance with building regulations and industry recognised safe working practices, including the disposal of waste. The qualification is structured to ensure that there is a high degree of flexibility within the units available and will allow employees from companies of all sizes and specialisms equal opportunity to complete. To provide this opportunity in addition to the core skills above, candidates will also be able to select optional units recognising skills including, working with direct bond dry linings, laying sand and cement screeds, installing mechanically fixed plasterboard and carrying out repair work. The standards cover the most important aspects of the job. This qualification is at Level 2, although some units may be at different levels and should be taken by those who are fully trained to deal with routine assignments.
