Moving & Handling Refresher training is mandatory for all staff who are physically assisting clients. What will my staff learn on this Course? Moving & Handling Refresher training is for staff who have taken part in a M&H Induction course within the last three years, or, have taken part in a M&H Refresher course within the last year. By the end of the course, you will be able to: Describe the structure of the spine and the risk of damage List factors that can help you to protect your back Explain how the law guides and protects you Describe the risk assessment process for manual handling tasks Demonstrate efficient movement principles Demonstrate practical techniques of moving & handling loads and people Please note: this course requires taking part in practical moving & handling activities. Our First Aid at Work Level 3 (18 hours) course is designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. Designed for medium to high risk organisations.

3 Day First Aid Description: The full 3-day First Aid at Work Qualification is nationally recognised. It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations. This qualification is valid for three year, after which delegates need to complete a 2-day refresher course. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and care of the unconscious requires physical effort. Learners should be capable of working with casualties at floor level. Learners receive a First Aid at Work guide book, a training dressing and a CPR barrier protection device. The HSE strongly recommend that all First Aiders undertake annual refresher training of at least 3 hours per year.
