elop: lgbtq+ mental health & wellbeing

elop is a holistic LGBTQ+ mental health and wellbeing charity and community centre that offers a range of social, emotional and support services to LGBTQ+ communities, including low-cost counselling, mental health support groups and individual support, spaces of belonging in our social groups, and support for 12+ LGBTQ+ young people in groups, mentoring and counselling.  We offer CPD training and consultancy for fellow professionals and those seeking to enhance their understanding of issues facing LGBTQ+ people. We uniquely, we also offer counselling training with our Foundation Certificate in LGBTQ+ Affirmative Practice and our Advanced Diploma in LGBTQ+ Affirmative Practice.

Sober, intergenerational, intersectional LGBTQ+ Community Centre. Our small team has driven our project from volunteers with a great idea to the opening of our doors at our bricks-and-mortar space. Our paid staff members ensure the day-to-day running of the Centre goes smoothly, while our board of trustees ensure we have a strong foundation in place from which to drive our strategic vision. The devastating impact of COVID-19 has meant a huge loss in income generation, service delivery and a shortage of volunteers. This has also had a impact on the funding that we apply for. Competition for funding is at an all-time high which has then led into longer waiting times between the initial application and the decision making. Demand for our support is at an all-time high but we lack the available funds to be able to do so. Please consider supporting us today!
