The Arienas Collective workshops&nbsp;are run from a supportive and welcoming home environment in the Edinburgh New Town*. Spaces are limited to allow our artists and designer-makers to offer hands-on help and support. All equipment is provided and all the materials you will need (unless stated otherwise). Just turn up, leave any day-to-day worries behind, and immerse yourself in creating something unique.

The price includes all materials and light refreshments. Anyone attending this workshop will also receive a creative reward of &pound;20 towards <a href="https://www.thearienascollective.com/workshops?layout=grid&cadpath=the-arienas-collective%2Fthe-artists-way-womens-circle" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" fr-original-style="" style="user-select: auto; font-size: var(--font-size); box-sizing: border-box; cursor: pointer; text-decoration: inherit;">The Artists&#39; Way Women&#39;s Circle</a> 13-week course run by Eugenia at The Arienas Collective.
PLEASE NOTE: Our workshop space is on the first-floor of a Georgian mews home and unfortunately there is no lift access, and the space is&nbsp;not&nbsp;nut free. More Information 
The Arienas Collective workshops, courses and events are run from a welcoming and supportive environment within a Georgian mews home in Edinburgh’s City Centre New Town. We invite you to join us, leave any day-to-day worries behind and immerse yourself in being creative.
Spaces on our workshops and courses are limited so that our creative team of artists and makers can offer you the hands-on help and support you need to make the most of your time with us. 
Our taster and introductory workshops focus on teaching creative skills and methods you can continue practising at home, using affordable materials and equipment. Where more expensive equipment is required we will mention this in the workshop description.
All the equipment and materials you need are included in the price, unless stated otherwise. 
Light refreshments from local suppliers are provided. On full day workshops you are welcome to bring your own lunch to eat inside or out. There is also a wide range of independent sit-in or takeaway delis, cafés, and restaurants, plus a range of supermarkets all within a 5-10 minute walk.
Accessibility
The workshop space is on the first-floor of our Georgian mews home and unfortunately we do not have lift access. Blue badge holders can park outside our front door on the single yellow line by arrangement.
Allergies
The workshop space is in our open plan living space and is not nut free. Please let us know about any skin or food allergies before booking. We offer a dairy-free milk and gluten free snack alternative.
Minimum number no refund policy
To ensure we can always pay our creatives a fair fee, we require a minimum number of bookings for each workshop and for this reason bookings are non-refundable. Should we have to cancel due to low numbers, we will offer you the option to swap to an alternative date or workshop, or to request a refund.
We do our very best to avoid cancellations. Since we often get late bookings, we keep our workshops on sale for as long as possible. We realise that some of you travel from afar, so if you book a space and have not yet received an email confirming your workshop is going ahead and need to make plans for your trip, please get in touch before booking any travel or accommodation so we can update you on booking numbers. Or check in before booking.
Private workshop bookings
Most of our workshops are also available to book for: private get-togethers with family and friends; themed wedding and birthday celebrations; corporate team building and well-being purposes; and in-store retail events for your customers. If you’d like to know more please Email Lynn.
Age restrictions
Our workshops are planned with adults in mind. Many are suitable for teenagers, but some may require under 16s to be accompanied for insurance purposes. Please check with us before booking.

The beliefs we have direct our actions and shape our lives.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Confidence is something we can all learn and is a skill.&nbsp; With consistent effort, and the courage to take a risk, we can gradually expand our confidence and with it, our capacity to build more of it.
After more than two years of surviving in a crisis, it&rsquo;s perfectly normal for our confidence to feel like it has taken a nosedive, leaving us with feelings of apprehension and uncertainty about the future.
But..&hellip;.if confidence is something we can all learn, then come and join Angela and Lara where they will share their personal learnings and insights from losing their confidence in themselves, and how they found it again.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Together we will go through different steps and exercises to help you gain confidence and have the pillars and knowledge to refer to at times when your confidence wanes.&nbsp;
This will be a supportive, interactive event where you will learn:

<li>How to identify who you are so you can make the appropriate choices to live your life your way!</li>
<li>Understand your unique values so you can identify what needs to change in your life</li>
<li>How specific routines in our lives can be transformational</li>
<li>Why it is so important to have a vision for your future</li>

You will go away armed with some great tools, methods and techniques to help you find that inner confidence that you can then share with the world.&nbsp;
Lara Doherty
Lara Doherty is an author of The Mighty Book Of Motivation Magic, accomplished Vision Board Expert, Vision and Motivational Coach, certified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Practitioner and has a certificate in Applied Neuroscience and Brain Health. She comes from a varied corporate career which spans 25 plus years leading teams and building relationships.
Lara is passionate about helping 40+ women transform their lives for the better, supporting them to find their purpose, potential and fulfillment - changing minds and lives one step at a time.
From overcoming a mentally and emotionally abusive relationship, Lara knows what it takes to go from rock bottom to living a confident, purpose driven and fulfilled life.
Angela Poole
Angela Poole is a personal trainer, mum of two teenage boys and more recently motivator and speaker.&nbsp; 11 years ago, Angela moved from South Africa to start a new life in the UK. &nbsp; In 2021 she launched a women&rsquo;s community, The Original Woman, supporting women in their journey to becoming more confident, happier and more fulfilled women.&nbsp;
From overcoming a dog attack at the age of 25, moving and resettling in a different country and dealing with a son with ADHD, Angela knows the importance of making real connections with others and loves nothing more than sharing her authentic account of her journey&nbsp;
