Naomi supports Women through the Every day and transitional times of life - with Yoga, Massage and Sound practices. She taught her first Yoga class in 2008 and has 1000s of hours of teaching and training experience since then. She passionately specialises in Yoga & Massage for Women's Health - Womb Health, Fertility, Pregnancy, Postnatal &, peri/menopause years. She regularly teaches Yin & Hatha Yoga, Yoga in the Workplace, Children's Yoga and Yoga for Mental Wellbeing. I taught my first Yoga class Yoga in 2008 and founded Yogababe in 2010. I initially trained for 3 years (500 hours) with the British Wheel of Yoga whilst I was pregnant and caring for young children. Naturally I adapted my Yoga style to suit Conception, Pregnancy, Birth and the Postnatal period. I decided to train with with Uma Dinsmore Tuli in Well Woman Yoga Therapy to help me maintain equilibrium both in my personal journey and helping other women. I have now completed many hours of extra study and training since so I can share Yoga practices with you and help you on your journey.. "My Yoga is totally adaptable and changes to suit whatever life brings me - it has helped me through transformative times . I bring adaptability into my teaching - there is always a Yoga practice to be had, whatever life stage you are at - whether physical posture, meditation, pranayama, song..... I was introduced to Yoga as a child, as my mother was also a Yoga teacher. But it wasn't until my early twenties that I rocked up at a random class in London, on my office job lunch break. I began to feel truly at peace and at home in myself on the mat. "I always said, I would train to be a Yoga teacher if I was still unhappy in my office job at 30. In fact, it happened way before that. I spent time in ashrams in India whilst travelling - Auroville, Tamil Nadu and the Sivananda Ashram, Kerala - they both taught me how Yoga can be 'lived' and it became an intrinsic part of my life. After travelling, I started my teacher training course with Elaine Fletcher and i haven't looked back. Having children transformed my practice and helped me find solace and interest in the subtler Yoga practices. Stronger postures often felt 'not quite right' especially when my body felt like it was giving up, suffering from pelvic & back issues, fatigue & postnatal depression. I learnt a lot at that time and now I am passionate in adapting Yoga practices to suit every body and mind. I actively promote mental health and wellbeing as well as developing self-awareness. Over the years I have taught classes in numerous gyms, and Schools, and collaborated with organisations such as MIND, MS Society, CoastNet, NE Essex Primary Care Trust and Barnardos.... "My personally practice changes every day according to my needs. I love a bit of Yin Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga and Yoga Nidra when i'm feeling exhausted....'

At Shop Zero, we’re here to help you shop more consciously and reduce your environmental impact. Bring your own containers for bulk, unpackaged food, lower impact personal care, ‘on the go‘ items, sustainable household goods and eco-friendly gifts. The Shop Zero Story When our founder, Sarah Maloy, went all-in on Plastic-free July in 2016, she felt completely overwhelmed! The world just wasn’t set up to help people reduce their waste. In committing to shop more consciously, Sarah embarked on an exciting new journey. She realised that if she was struggling to get bulk food and refills for her containers then other people would be too. How could she help to provide a solution? By opening her own zero-waste shop, Shop Zero (you can read about this experience in Sarah’s own words here). Sarah threw all of her research and knowledge into Shop Zero, only stocking products from ethical suppliers that she would personally use. Why do your eco-friendly shopping at Shop Zero? Our focus is on providing you with great quality sustainable goods with minimal packaging and a lower environmental impact. At Shop Zero, we know the provenance of what we sell – where our products come from and what they’re made of. We work alongside local producers and makers to bring you great quality sustainable products. To reduce packaging and food waste, we offer whole foods and store cupboard essentials in bulk and unpackaged. All ready for your own containers, in the quantities that you choose. We also host an exciting programme of ethically-focused events, talks, pop-up shops and workshops throughout the year featuring some amazing local independent businesses and individuals. And we’re here to talk with you about what you’re buying, so you can shop sustainably with confidence. We need a change in the way we consume and shop. Nature is cyclical and we need to follow her example (click here to find out more about adopting a circular economy). We’ve become disconnected from our environment. At Shop Zero, we want to support the move away from a linear approach of producing greater amounts of waste to taking more responsibility for the impact we have on our world.

MY PHILOSOPHY I'm passionate about how the therapeutic relationship can facilitate insight and believe in the human capacity for change. My philosophy is that every person has worth, the right to decide their own future and a person should feel safe and secure in order to explore their sense of self. If a person is provided with the right conditions for growth - they'll always move towards change The type of therapy I offer is relational, person-focussed and yet challenging – meaning I work with a wide variety of presenting issues. I have worked with a diversity of clients and mental health concerns - predominantly age 16+, experiencing anxiety, low mood, depression, trauma, grief, loneliness or difficulties in interpersonal relationships. I believe that through understanding how you are in the world, you can create a greater self-awareness and understanding for self and other. I describe myself as fascinated by the stories people tell themselves & of themselves, and the affect of interpersonal relationships. Alongside being a psychotherapist, I’m also an EMDR Therapist. EMDR (Eye movement desensitisation & reprocessing) is now part of WHO & NICE guidelines and part of the suite of therapies offered by the NHS. To find out more about this option, and how it aligns with my own way of working, you can find information here. About me “Originally heralding from the Midlands, I made Brighton my hometown over a decade ago. It’s where I became a wife and mother, & both of those events are what propelled me into therapy! “Yet, my transition into motherhood meant having to navigate the loss of my identity - reflecting on how I was raised (and if I wanted to raise my own children in the same manner). Coupled with the expectations I felt society placed upon me, a growing sense of anxiety, and how my relationship with my partner shifted and evolved, I turned to personal therapy to help me understand my Self on a deeper level. It is through my continuing personal development that I have broadened my social and political awareness, and why I incorporate aspects of feminist therapy into my work”

I qualified as an infant massage teacher in 2016 and extended my qualifications to deliver yoga, sign and messy craft sessions. I juggle this with being a mother to my daughter. Before taking time off to have my daughter, I worked as a teacher and Head of Department in a Secondary school for almost 9 years within; Health and Social Care and Nutrition, at GCSE and A Level. During the first year of motherhood I was diagnosed with postnatal depression, which was a little bit of a shock. I had no idea about it, had never heard of it, didn't know how I would be treated and helped along and I had hundreds of questions. Eventually once I was able to find the correct support for me, things improved and I felt safe. My whole experience as a first time mum suffering postnatal depression led me down this path. I was keen to help and support other parents and carers, creating fun sessions for all who attend, to support all individually who attend, in all aspects of health. Making individuals feel safe, supported and cared for whilst enjoying fun and engaging sessions. The thing I love about baby massage and yoga, is the way it can help new parents build or enhance that bond with their new born and it is very instant - I can literally see it happen before my eyes, and this is a very special time. I love the way all of our sessions helps both parent or carer and the child. It is so wonderful to see all who attend go one a journey. Giving individuals the skills, the confidence and self-esteem to re-create sessions at home. I hold the Touch Learn International Qualification in Infant Massage, Baby Yoga and Baby Signing and a full and valid first aid certificate as well as a yearly updated DBS

I have a passion for education! After 20 years experience working with pupils in the public and private sectors, including my own children, I know what works. And the glowing reviews I regularly receive from parents prove that I am getting it right! A Star Tuition Group evolved from my own experience when my boys started school. It quickly became apparent that they needed more than school alone could provide. Ben and Mathew attended a high-performing primary school and as a parent, I felt under enormous pressure to ensure that they were not just happy, but also thriving in the classroom. Being a teacher, I was able to provide the extra support the boys needed – not just with homework, but also by taking them onto the next level when they were ready. The results were so impressive that I was asked to teach a neighbour’s daughter. Her father was delighted with the progress she made in such a short time, so he recommended me to his friend. Within a few months, further recommendations resulted in a steady flow of pupils who all needed that extra boost in order to thrive at school… A Star Tuition Group was born! 11+ 11 plus test exam tuition Ramsbottom Since then I have taught hundreds of children with outstanding results. Furthermore, A Star Tuition Group continues to grow – I have a fantastic team of teachers, working alongside me, delivering high-quality English, maths, science & languages support. I am very excited about this because now we can help even more 15 to 18 year-olds, who are anxious about upcoming exams, but cannot get the support they need from their schools. In 2019, A Star Tuition Group was crowned the ‘Best Tuition Group in Manchester’ in Corporate Livewire’s ‘Prestige of Manchester Awards. Furthermore, in 2022, we won the accolade of ‘Best Tuition Group in the North West’! It’s been my privilege and a pleasure helping children achieve their educational goals and to be awarded for doing a job that I love, is incredible!
