This Anaphylaxis, Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy and Head Injuries - an annual refresher course, is suitable for all Health Professionals, teachers, parents and carers and anyone who has any of the above conditions; or is working with, or involved in the care of any child or young person who has any of these long term health conditions. It is a comprehensive course that explains; the physiology of the conditions, common triggers, signs and symptoms, how to recognise an acute episode, what to do, how to treat and how to administer medication. The course also provides helpful support to Schools and health professionals in writing Individual Healthcare Plans and supporting children with these medical conditions to play a full and active role in school life, remain healthy and achieve their academic potential. This course is designed to give you the knowledge to identify and help someone experiencing one of these complex medical conditions. This course does not seek to replace a practical course but allows you to learn these vital skills at a time and place to suit you. The course consists of illustrated step by step directions, flow charts, diagrams, videos and test yourself sections fully compatible with all computers and mobile devices. You will be able to stop and start as often as you like and print your Certificate on completion. You have continuous access to this course for 12 months. Ideally this course should be undertaken in conjunction with the separate course on Supporting pupils at school with medical conditions and giving medication in schools, nurseries and childcare settings. The IRATA Level 1 is the entry level into the rope access industry. An IRATA Level 1 technician will be able to perform a range of rope access manoeuvres and have an understanding of the current legislation. An IRATA Level 1 is required to be supervised by an IRATA Level 3 technician.
