I am an East Sussex based artist who specialises in murals, window painting and creative workshops. My aim in all areas of my work, from planning to the final product, is to create an enjoyable, smooth and professional experience for clients and those who will benefit from the outcome. When beginning a project I work closely with the client to discover the objective and story of the project and the routes that we could take to get to the end. I make an in detail plan and quotation of what the final product could look like, how much it'll cost, how long it'll take and more, so the client feels completely happy with what the stages of the process are.

Age does not define us, our voice can unlock the past and create the future Intergenerational Opera is a music outreach programme running in East Sussex bringing together Primary School children and elderly people from the community including those with Dementia through creative music workshops. The project will use music to develop communication and social interaction, boost confidence and creative expression and to generally improve overall wellbeing for all its participants. Each Intergenerational project will run in conjunction with the school term in weekly sessions. Relationships formed during the project are predicted to outlive the project. Sessions are run by two professional opera singers and supported by a pianist. Music is learnt by ear and created by participants. The project culminates with a performance to which parents and carers are invited.

Dorothy is a trained voice coach in Brighton, East Sussex. She is also a voice coach in London and provides voice and singing training across Europe. Dorothy has an MA in Voice Studies from Central School of Speech and Drama and fifteen years experience as a voice teacher and Voice Movement Therapist. She works with groups and takes individual sessions. She is Currently Head Of Voice at BRICCT in Brighton. She has worked as a voice teacher for the past seven years at Italia Conti Drama college London. A voice teacher at ACT, Academy of Creative Training, Brighton until 2018 and Voice and presentation lecturer at The American Intercontinental University / Regents University London. Her teaching has been informed and inspired by her own Voice teachers: Katarina Moraitis (Head of Voice, CSSD), Christine Linklater, Frankie Armstrong, Jan Haydon Rolls, Barbara Houseman and Cicely Berry (Head of Voice at the RSC). St Mary's is based on the south east coast of England in Bexhill, East Sussex and we cater for both residential and day pupils aged 7 to 19. Since 1922, it has been our mission to ensure that children with Speech, Language and Communication needs and additional difficulties receive the integrated support they need to enable them to achieve their potential and take their place in the community. St Mary’s is a total communication environment. This means we utilise a range of approaches that enable our pupils to succeed in their development of their communication skills. All of our staff, including those in non-child facing roles, are trained in sign-supported English. Our staff team provide assistance for parents and carers who wish to learn to sign in order that they can support their child in the home. Welcome to Kemp Pilates! I've been teaching Pilates since 2005 and practising it long before. I love how it enables you to create freer movement and get out of pain. It works the whole body from the inside out to create a lengthened body, stabilises the joints, and maintains balance, strength and flexibility. I'm an experienced Pilates teacher, having worked with lots of different bodies. Pilates is perfect for recovering from injury or managing and improving on-going conditions. I'm particularly experienced in working with clients with neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's and stroke. I also work with clients with arthritis, osteoporosis, hyper-mobility, scoliosis, slipped discs and more. As a mum of 4 children I know how Pilates can be invaluable in supporting you mentally and physically. I can liaise with medical practitioners for an integrated approach. I offer 1:1 (£50), 2:1(£60) and small group classes (£12pp) from my home studio in East Sussex, in person, or virtually via Zoom or Skype, and out in the forest at Bedgebury Pinetum. I'm also a fully qualified teacher of The Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method comprising facial exercise, relaxation, facial massage, acupressure and wellbeing. Superior Healthcare was founded in 2006 by Stewart Thorp, his father Charles and Sarah Richards in response to their experience of caring for Stewart’s brother and Charles’ son, Alex, who has an acquired brain injury. Alex was knocked from his bicycle whilst cycling on a country lane in 2001, by a motorist who had been using his mobile phone at the time of impact. Although sustaining only minor physical injuries, Alex suffered what proved to be a catastrophic blow to his head. Alex was rapidly transferred to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at King’s College Hospital, London, where he spent four weeks on life support. During a stay on the PICU and Lion Ward that would last almost three months, Alex had a tracheostomy and his breathing was managed by a ventilator. Whilst he was weaned from his ventilator, he continued to be fed via a gastrostomy tube well after his transfer to the Children’s Head Injury Service, based at Chailey Heritage in East Sussex. During a year-long stay at Chailey, Alex would learn to walk and talk again with the support of a team of support workers, nurses and healthcare professionals including physiotherapists, speech and language therapists and neurologists whilst a plan was made for his return to the family home. It was then that Charles and Stewart met Sarah Richards, the Registered Nurse who was tasked to recruit the team that would support Alex at home. In ensuing years, Charles, Stewart and Sarah worked alongside a team of healthcare professionals as well as solicitors and case managers to support Alex’s continued rehabilitation including his return to education and participation at Headway – an independent charity working to provide social rehabilitation to adults with an acquired brain injury. From their personal experience, Charles and Stewart identified the importance of a specialised care service that would bridge the gap between independent care providers and national organisations and in 2006, Superior Healthcare was founded with the objective of providing specialised services for people who have complex and long term health needs. Since then, we have worked with children, young people, adults and their families to provide twenty-four hour and respite care, which supports people during rehabilitation or to maintain their health, as well as providing a dignified service for people approaching the end of their lives. At Superior Healthcare, providing a high-quality service is a personal goal. Superior Healthcare works with Nursing & Residential Care Providers, Day Centres and Hospitals throughout Kent by offering a wide range of staffing connected services.
