The Highfield's Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work Course meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, that all organisations must have adequate first aid provision. This 1 day course is suitable for smaller, low risk organisations who feel that the syllabus listed below meets the type of injuries common in your workplace and industry. This course covers the syllabus as laid down by the HSE.

First Aid training – Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) (FAA Award Level 2) is QCF, Ofqual and HSE approved awarding organisation. This course delivered over a minimum of 6 hours is both practical and theoretical covering responsibilities of the first aider, reporting, first aid hygiene, bleeding, shock, seizures, assessments, resuscitation, angina, heart attacks, choking, minor injuries and dealing with an unresponsive casualty, compliant with the latest health and safety executive regulations and guidelines. ATTIRE AND DRESS CODE We would recommend for all female candidates to wear trousers, comfortable shoes so that they can all practice the technique of CPR effectively on the CPR manikins. Condensed Emergency First Aid at Work covering topics within the full EFAW HSE syllabus This condensed Emergency First Aid at Work course covers the full Emergency First Aid at Work First Aid course syllabus, but with only an overview of CPR, AED and the Recovery Position. If you need to cover the full EFAW syllabus, please choose our First Aid for Work online course. This course serves as an excellent annual refresher for the fully regulated 3 day HSE FAW or EFAW course. As a stand-alone course it will award you an HSE Appointed Person First Aid qualification. Certificates are valid for 3 years and can be used as evidence of verifiable CPD. The Condensed Emergency First Aid at Work course consists of illustrated step by step directions, flow charts, diagrams, videos and test yourself sections fully compatible with all computers and mobile devices. You will be able to stop and start as often as you like and print your Certificate on completion. You will have continuous access to the course for 12 months.
