I am delighted to welcome you to the Presdales School website, and hope that it will give you a flavour who we are, what we stand for and what we can offer your children. Presdales is a 11-18 non-selective girls school, with boys welcomed in to the Sixth Form. We have a long tradition of providing an outstanding education for our students. Formerly Ware Grammar School for Girls, which opened in 1906, we became Presdales School in the mid-1960s, and a fully comprehensive school in the early 1970s. The mansion house which fronts the school and our stunning grounds provide a calm and relaxed atmosphere for our school community. Presdales School is one of nine designated Lead Language Hub schools in England. We work with the National Centre for Excellence at York University, and with other Hertfordshire schools to enhance and improve opportunities for students in Modern Foreign Languages.

For over 30 years I have worked with people suffering from neurological, orthopaedic problems and pain. Before working as an Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapist in the NHS at Greater Glasgow & Clyde I worked at RUSK Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine New York; Challenge Early Intervention Centre Brooklyn NY; and Visiting Nurse Service in NYC. I am currently a freelance physiotherapist and healthcare practitioner based in Killearn, Scotland. My intention is to integrate my knowledge in anatomy, physiology, body biomechanics and neuroscience in Physiotherapy and the Feldenkrais Method of somatic learning in the your care to move with ease and comfort. Tai Chi for Health empowers you to move mindfully with better balance and coordination therefore improving heath and well being. Combining all these skills with Acupuncture I would discuss with you after the initial assessment the treatment plan to optimise your sessions for therapy and education to enhance your personal journey to recovery. Saltersgate School is part of the Dalkeith Schools Community Campus located on the outskirts of Dalkeith which we share with Dalkeith High School and St David’s RC School. We support pupils who have a wide range of additional support needs between 5 and 18 years of age. Our School has both Primary and Secondary departments who benefit from a team of specialist teachers offering P.E. and swimming, Outdoor Education, Art and Design, Music, CDT, ICT, Home Economics and Science. Senior Phase pupils in the Secondary department are also offered a wide range of option classes which have included Cycling, Outdoor Art, Travel and Leisure, Events, Grow to eat and Performing Arts. In addition to the use of Swimming pools, bikes and Specialist teaching rooms pupils may use our multi-sensory room, ball pool, soft play or hydrotherapy pool to aid their development. Within our school we are also fortunate to have a team of therapists and nurses who are on hand to support our learners.

Welcome to our website; we hope that you find it useful. Redborne is a very successful, oversubscribed Upper School of over 1,600 students, 450 of whom are in the Sixth Form. Over 80% of our Sixth Form go onto university and 14 have gone to Oxbridge in the last 3 years. We have been designated a National Support School by the Department of Education. We were graded "good" in our Ofsted inspection in November 2017, with many positive comments being made by the inspection team. In April, 2011 we were granted Academy Status by the government and as such we are now an independent but state funded school. I am a Future Commercial Pupil Barrister, Entrepreneur and Content Creator. As a Law Student I realised quickly that there was a need to challenge the lack of resources for future barristers without personal connections into the profession. BATB is a platform providing motivation, education and inspiration for future and practising barristers through online, in person and on demand workshops/tutorials, and an online store providing digital resources for barrister skills development and Bar School. My journey to the Bar has pushed me to be innovative in how to organise myself to manage my time and productivity. Inspired by a desire to avoid procrastination and burnout as a student barrister, I developed tools to help me learn, process information and practically apply my developing professional skills. Shop B at The Bar makes these tools and resources available for other aspiring barristers as they work diligently at their goal of reaching the Bar. I believe that you can succeed through organisation, preparation and diligent skills development.

I studied ceramics for three years at Eastbourne College of Art. Since then I have worked as a potter and tutor for thirty seven years. I am currently dividing my time between producing my own handmade ceramics and running pottery classes for people of all abilities at my studio in Lewes UK. I am a qualified adult education tutor. I produce a range of domestic stoneware. My inspiration for this work is the coastline of Sussex. Where many summers were spent exploring the colours and textures of the coastal landscape, rock pooling, searching for shells, fossils and stones. I also produce one off pieces using the raku firing method. The results are unpredictable and the use of copper and silver wire enchance the finished piece. My work can be found in Alfriston Gallery, East Sussex, Lavernham Comtempory Art Gallery, Suffolk, Avocet Gallery, Rye. Alistair Fleming's shop in Lewes and Skylark, Lewes. Open Houses during the Brighton Festival in May and Artwave August-September in Lewes.
