This is an intensive 2 day training course where you learn all about Ayurveda dosa types and how to treat and target different skin conditions. It is beneficial if you already hold a facial training qualification however if you have a massage qualification we will allow you to book on the course. In this course we cover; Mukhabhyanga Facial Massage Working on the face, neck and head, mukhabhyanga is a remedial therapy where firm pressure lifts facial muscles, leaving a youthful and vibrant glow. By massaging marma points, the movements increase energy flow; stimulate blood flow and collagen, which helps to reduce problem lines. Ayurveda Holistic Facial Harnessing the power of Ayurveda this facial starts by cleansing the skin with liberal amounts of Ayurveda cleanser. Following this, an Ayurvedic facial massage is carried out to boost energy flow. A soft face scrub followed by a face mask of neem and sandalwood is left on to work its magic. To finish, a moisturiser is massaged in using circular motions over marma points, leaving your skin fresh and revitalised. This utilises the Mukabhyanga Massage we learn first and we also look at Ayurvedic facial massage tools. Ayurveda Purifying Facial A traditional Ayurvedic facial using soft bundles filled with herbs and carefully selected Ayurvedic products. By stimulating vital (marma) points, it helps reduce facial tension, tighten and tone the skin and leave a bright and nourished complexion. It targets the signs of ageing – combating fine lines and wrinkles – while encouraging super hydrated skin.

CITB HEALTH AND SAFETY AWARENESS COURSE The 1 Day CITB Health and Safety Awareness course is for those who have entered, or are about to enter the construction and civil engineering industry as a member of the workforce, to help them understand the potential hazards that they face at work on site. The Site Safety Plus 1 day CITB health and safety awareness course provides a practical summary of safety, welfare and environmental issues identifying individual responsibilities for looking after themselves and others, what the employers duties are and what should be done if they think anyones safety and health is being put at risk. Join us for an interactive food workshop giving practical advice and support for the body’s transition during peri-menopause and menopause. We will discuss menopause-related nutrition, focus on foods rich in calcium and vitamin D to support bone health, and emphasise the food groups that ensure a high intake of vitamins, minerals, and fibre We will also look at how to include whole grains to promote heart health, which is particularly important as the risk of heart disease increases after menopause and discuss the benefits of soy and soy products, as they contain phytoestrogens, which may help balance hormones. Barista Skills teaches the essential practical skills needed behind the espresso bar, such as how to set your grinder, make espresso, foam and texture milk for cappuccinos, and create latte art, as well as an exploration of health and safety issues, customer service protocols, and basic business practices. The Barista Skills Intermediate course builds on the concepts and skills introduced in the Foundation course. It is ideal for someone who has barista skills experience and wants to explore how to improve coffee quality and prepare for more complex job functions found in the barista profession. Through this interactive course, learners will gain a deeper understanding of the coffee itself, specifically, the impact of a coffee’s variety, origins and processing methods on flavour; the parameters of coffee quantity, grind texture, water quality, and shot time and their interaction when dialling in a brew recipe; drink construction and taste differences; workflow management and efficiency, sensory aspects of the espresso extraction; milk handling and techniques as well as latte art. In addition to coffee preparation, this course also covers key concepts regarding health and safety, customer service, and basic business practices. A written exam tests Intermediate course knowledge, while a practical exam assesses the learner’s ability in terms of grinder calibration, espresso extraction analysis, latte art skills and drinks construction.
