P402 Surveying and sampling strategies for asbestos in buildings is the industry standard qualification for asbestos surveyors. In addition to holding the qualification, asbestos surveyors are required to undertake and provide evidence of annual refresher training. Previously, BOHS provided two Refresher courses for this purpose: P402RM (Management) and P402RRD (Refurbishment and Demolition). This new course, RP402 Refresher - Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings, replaces P402RM and P402RRD. RP402 Refresher enables candidates to revise and update their knowledge on all types of asbestos surveys, and to receive a certificate of course completion by passing a written examination, which covers both the theory and practice of surveying for asbestos in buildings.

She describes her passion as "enabling children and adults to maximize their potential by working collaboratively to meet their treatment goals by using a combination of symptom reduction protocols in addition to Positive Psychology." In addition to providing private therapy services, she supervises CBT Therapists working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including the NHS; Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS); schools; and private practices. Professor Patrick McGhee Professor Patrick McGhee is a CBT therapist, psychologist and UK National Teaching Fellow. Educated at the universities of Glasgow and Oxford, he has completed CPD programmes at Harvard Business School and Ashridge. In 2017 he was a Visiting Fellow/Scholar at the universities of Cornell, Yale and MIT in the USA. He has taught, researched or practised in psychology and therapy for 30 years. His first post was a Research Fellow in Psychiatry and Psychology at St George's Hospital Medical School, University of London. He is the author of Thinking Psychologically (Palgrave) and co-editor of Accounting for Relationships (Methuen). He is an occasional columnist for the Guardian, the BBC and the Times Higher. Planned changes to the Construction Skills Certification Scheme mean that from September 2017, Construction Related Occupation (CRO) cards will be phased out. Without registration on an accepted course, or an industry-recognised qualification for your trade, you will not be able to apply for a CSCS card, unless you apply for the CSCS Labourer Card, to access construction sites. An IOSH Working Safely Certificate, along with a CITB Health & Safety Certificate, allows you to apply for a Labourer Card. Therefore, from September 2017, without a CSCS card, you won't get on site. The Labourer Card may be the only way you can get on site.
