A Health & Safety Executive Approved course that complies with First Aid Regulations 1981. This is a refresher course for those that have previously attended and passed the First Aid At Work Course and now need to renew their certification. Who Should Attend? People that hold a valid First Aid At Work Certificate Course Content Health & Safety Using a First Aid Kit Incident Management Resuscitation / CPR - Adult, Child, Baby AED Familiarisation Recovery Position Choking - Adult, Child, Baby Burns & Scalds Poisoning including Anaphylaxis Epilepsy Shock Bleeding & Nose Bleeds Asthma Head Injuries Fractures, Sprains & Strains Many Other Specific Conditions Course Duration: Two Days Assessment / Certification Independent qualified assessors carry out the assessments. Each delegate that passes will receive a Certificate valid for Three years. Please note that training can take place upto 3 months in advance of the Certificate expiry date. The new Certificate will be dated from the expiry date of the old Certificate.

This course is designed for supervisors in the construction sector.

This is a 2 day course which after completion and a satisfactory assessment, re-qualifies the holder for a further 3 years to act as a first aider in the workplace under HSE (First Aid) regulations 1981. Deligates should hold a current FAW certificate.

First Aid - Level 3 First Aid at Work Re-Qualification Three Day Course Cost:  £150 + vat per person Group Booking: 8 people or more £1100 (inclusive of vat). SYLLABUS A range of subjects are covered, including:- Legalities, responsibilities and reporting Dealing with an unresponsive casualty Fractures and spinal injuries Resuscitation and AED awareness Assessment of the situation CERTIFICATION Control of bleeding Shock (including Anaphylaxis) Heart attacks Head injuries Sprains and strains Poisoning Bandaging Choking Eye injuries Chest injuries Maximum of 12 People All learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aiders that can treat their casualties promptly, safely and effectively. Where a workplace First Aid Risk Assessment identifies a need for a First Aider in the Workplace. This accredited Three-Day Qualification will give the participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. The Certificate is valid for 3 years and will expire from the date on the certificate. This course covers materials hoists - Include Genie SLA (SLA10, SLA15 etc) and Sumner 2000 Series hoists. Ideal for tool hire, plant hire.
