Pilot Theatre are an international touring theatre company based in York. We’re committed to creating high quality mid-scale theatre for younger audiences, and will be many people’s very first encounter with this form. We also make work outside of traditional theatre buildings, where our projects pursue a relationship with our audience that is often playful, interactive and participatory. We are always curious about our ongoing and changing relationship with technology, and often explore this theme. Across all our projects we seek to create a cultural space where young adults can encounter, express, and interrogate big ideas that are relevant to our lives right now.

Established in 1982 it offers services in the Larne community from its purpose built centre. All programmes reflect the key commitments of: Promoting Youth Development Promoting Healthy Living Promoting Community Engagement The association is recognised by the Inland Revenue as having charitable status (reference number XR 22612) and is a Company Limited by Guarantee (NI Company Number NI 069370). It has five voluntary Directors and a voluntary Board of Management drawn from the local community. Although locally autonomous Larne YMCA is affiliated to the National Council of YMCAs of Ireland, as well as the European and World Alliances. On a local basis it participates in various local networks and projects both statutory and voluntary.

MaxRock Banbury after School clubs, Rock School, Game builders Academy and Birthday Party Arcade MaxRock provides after school clubs for learning Rock Drums and Electric guitar. They also provide Computer game building lessons for 7 to 16 year olds. Maxrock is based in Banbury. They also host Birthday parties for kids.

We work together to plan actions, talks, events and training. We also join larger protests and demonstrations. You can find pictures of our most recent demonstrations here. Extinction Rebellion York (XR York) is part of the international environmental pressure group Extinction Rebellion. . We use non-violent direct action and civil disobedience to urge decision makers and leaders to act now to reduce the impact of climate change. Our campaigns led to the City of York Council declaring a climate emergency in 2019 and pledging to reach Net Zero by 2030. We have 3 key demands: Tell the Truth: The government must declare a climate emergency. Act Now: The government needs to act now to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to Net Zero by 2025. Beyond Politics: The government should create and be led by the decisions of a Citizens’ Assembly on climate and ecological justice. Our core principles include non-violence, building a regenerative culture, challenging the toxic system we live in, breaking down power hierarchies, and achieving climate justice.
