This course focuses on what Lawful Interception and Data Retention (DR) means to communications service providers in the IP and NGN areas. OCOSC was founded in 1989 to provide after school childcare between 3 PM and 6 PM in an area where such facilities were in very short supply but in high demand. This has since expanded to include mornings and holidays, an a wrap-around style. In line with parents’ requirements, the organisation is currently able to provide continuous support to children from age 4 to 14, 52 weeks of the year and a single point for collection and/or dropping-off family members of different ages and attending different schools. The objectives that the Club aims to meet through its work include early year education, training and providing care and counselling to children and young people. We cater for the educational, emotional, cultural, developmental and physical needs of the children that attend, in line with Ofsted requirements. Of our 18 staff, 12 have a recognised childcare qualification, 11 a recognised Playwork qualification and we aim to help all staff achieve their paediatric first aid certificate. All staff also have an enhanced DBS check

The common echo that Ben leaves in his wake seems to be “Aha! I finally GET Photoshop!” What’s the key to truly understanding Photoshop? Ben believes that it’s crucial to wrap your mind around the core concepts of a feature and understand why that feature is important before getting into the technical end of it. In teaching seemingly-complicated techniques, he relates the concepts to everyday knowledge (like dimmer switches for lighting – See video below) so the mind can connect them to something it already understands.

Despite the fact that betting on sport is illegal for anyone under the age of 18, Australia is a haven for gambling operators. The government has done its best to minimise the harm that gambling can cause by developing policies limiting the amount of gambling that takes place and prohibiting certain types of gambling advertising. The latest survey by the Australian Communications and Media Authority has revealed that wagering on sports in Australia is on the up, with a reported increase of 5 per cent from last year to the year to come. The research looked at the most popular types of gambling in Australia, and found that there are roughly two million Australians who bet on sport at least once a year. This equates to a loss of approximately $921 million a year. In order to minimise the impact of gambling on the community, the government has developed a community education campaign to highlight the potential risks involved. In addition, the Northern Territory has imposed a point-of-consumption tax on betting operators, making a hefty chunk of revenue go to the state. The Australian state governments can determine whether the licences they award to gambling operators are exclusive or non-exclusive, and what kind of fee to charge.

Many of our clients have complex needs in relation to homelessness, mental health problems, drug/alcohol dependency and offending behaviour.
