Tydfil Training Consortium Limited was founded in 1987 and incorporated as a limited company and Registered Charity in 1990. We deliver a wide range of programmes under contract to DfES and JCP for unemployed individuals who require support and training to secure employment. Tydfil Training prides itself on creating a supportive and safe environment for both staff and participants, working with people to give more, offering equal opportunities for all. B-wbl Circle Colour In 2015, Tydfil Training became partners within a consortia of like-minded training providers, colleges, voluntary sector organisations and employers to form B-wbl, formerly Skills Academy Wales (South West). The consortia of 10 now delivers a wide range of Work Based Learning opportunities throughout South and Mid Wales through its contract with the Welsh Government. As a result of this partnership, participants are offered a wide range of purposeful training and work experience opportunities which support them into sustainable employment.

I’ve been involved in many academies and currently play Semi-Professional Rugby, which has allowed me to learn off top end coaches throughout my career. I’ve participated in many sports competing at national standards in Athletics and becoming Welsh Champion at my event.

4x4 driving school

The driving school has been running at Ty Rhiw farm since 2016. Owner and operator Del Wheeler heads up the 4x4 Driving School team who collectively have over 50 years experience off-roading experience. Del as well as managing the 4x4 driving school also competes in many comp safari events Welsh Hill Rally in 2018 - Finished 16 overall / 3rd in Class 2019 AWDC Britpart Ravenol Safari Championship - Finished 7th overall / 1st Class Champion King of Britain 2020 - Completed / 3rd in Class

glynllifon agricultural college

Glynllifon is a land-based campus with residential facilities, situated on the Glynllifon Estate near Caernarfon. The Glynllifon farm, including the woodland, extends to 300 hectares, and is a great environment for studying countryside management and agricultural studies. Agriculture students will gain hands-on experience on Glynllifon’s working farm which has: A crossbred Autumn calving dairy herd A Spring calving Stabiliser and Welsh Black beef herd A lowland flock of 500 Llŷn ewes 50 Continental terminal sire flock A pig herd of 50 Welsh and Hybrid sows Recent investments at the farm include the cattle roundhouse and a state-of-the-art pig unit. The campus also has an animal studies centre, engineering centre and forest & sawmill. The state-of-the-art teaching block provides contemporary facilities for classroom-based learning, IT rooms, plus a library & resource centre, a large lecture theatre, two purpose-built rooms for exotic animals and the veterinary nursing course, plus kitchens and workrooms for the Independent Living Skills Department. WELCOME  The Lewis family welcomes you to Griffin-Lloyd Shooting Ground.  A family business, established in 1990, we located in the heart of the countryside on the Welsh/English border. Griffin-Lloyd offers a wide variety of clay target shooting  to suit your needs whether an national/international athlete wishing to stay at the top of your game or a novice looking to try something new and exciting.     As a WCTSA / CPSA Ground we hold registered competitions, open for practice for registered Shotgun Certificate holders, we offer ‘Have-A-Go’ experience and individual lesson available for those who want to try clay target shooting for the first time and coaching available for shooters who want to improve.    We hold Welsh Target Shooting Federation and British shooting training camps for the Academy/ Pathway and Elite.  The shooting ground provides clay shooters an option of disciplines; 26 English Sporting stands include high tower ranging up to 135 ft, 2 covered Olympic Trap/ABT layouts, 2 Down-the-Line and Olympic Skeet.    Cosy wooden frame Clubhouse provides tea/coffee/soft drinks, snacks, indoor/outdoor seating, Wood burner, toilets. Plenty of car parking, cartridges available to purchase on site. Cash and BAC’s payments are accepted.

Karla Donaldson I’m a mum of two, who has experienced and highs and lows of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. At my height I was a Commonwealth swimmer, strong, confident and a 8 times welsh record holder. As a low I was a new mum, 5 stone over-weight and struggling to maintain a balanced lifestyle. Both experiences gave me an understanding, knowledge, experience and depth of appreciation of what maintaining a healthy life is all about, when you juggle work, family and activity everyday. Through our services I aim to empower, motivate and change peoples lives for the better.

This training programme has been operating in Wales since 2009. Every year around 300 places are taken up at our training courses or events, a figure that was doubled during the pandemic as we transferred our courses online to support media workers across Wales. We provide skill-building courses, redundancy support, wellbeing sessions and conferences that examine the future of journalism and communications. The project is funded by the Welsh Government's Wales Union Learning Fund (WULF) and is delivered by a team of experienced freelance journalists and trainers, providing essential skills and refreshers to journalists and communications professionals from Wales and beyond

Welsh artist Charlotte Grayland will be presenting her largest solo exhibition to date, Swings & Roundabouts in Cardiff MADE & Oriel Y Bont, Treforest.
