Why is it so difficult for the ex-boarder to talk about their childhoods. How are they treated if they do? Do people really say "They LOVED it" and actually mean or is this simply a defence mechanism?

This structured talk gets boarders reacting with "I thought I was the only one!" and helps the therapists 'see' the experience beyond what is depicted in popular culture. Carefully crafted to give former boarders a way to express their experiences without sounding 'spoit' or 'ungrateful'.
