Founded in 2010 by Barry Ingleton, Synolos is an award winning Social Enterprise (CIC) organisation based in West Oxfordshire that helps individuals identify and fulfil their potential. Our Purpose At Synolos we believe that every person has the potential to live a successful life. Unfortunately, we are not all given the same opportunities to identify and fulfil that potential. Our purpose is to work with individuals to not only identify their strengths, but to help carry them through into a practical and creative setting. To fulfil this purpose, we have various approaches at our disposal that we can offer, depending on the needs of the individual. Our goal for all those we work with is to help guide them into employment, self-employment, voluntary work or further training. Our aim is a simple one, but of paramount importance. Our mission at Diamond Sportz is to give children and adults a chance to access high-level martial arts and sports. Children's first sporting experience is so important as it can influence them to go on to better things if taught properly. This is done through upskilling teachers, instructors and sports coaches in how to deliver high-quality PE and martial arts lessons. I am a qualified school teacher my specialist subject is physical education (PE) I'm also a martial arts instructor and I started training in Taekwondo in 1986 at Panther Taekwondo, I gained my black belt in 1990 and wanted a new challenge, so I started going on different coaching courses to increase my coaching knowledge. While studying for my teaching degree I joined an organisation called Teachsport. With Teachsport, I went on to develop a school's martial arts program which involves going into primary schools and teaching children taekwondo and fitness. Once I graduated from University, I decided to introduce martial arts as a PE option to our Teachsport programme to help children with their coordination and confidence. We now run numerous after- school clubs throughout London and the south east, covering a range of different sports. I have recently gained the status of vice president at Panther Taekwondo and Song Moo Kwan England my duties include safeguarding and wellbeing of students and instructors. I now work in schools in Haringey, Lewisham and Redbridge teaching PE and supporting teachers in how to deliver good to outstanding PE.

Welcome! I'm so exciting to be teaching you here- let me show you what works!  Are you sick of trying to piece together information from various sources online on how to make candles only to find it doesn't work? People come to me all the time after trying and failing at getting the correct wax, wicks and fragrance oils to work together effectively. It is easy to get right but also easy to get wrong. Let me show you my techniques.  You're going to learn all about how to measure the candle wax, choose the correct wick size (which is a minefield) and most importantly choosing your fabulous scents.  I do work and teach with soy wax and we are a vegan company.  I have run in-person candle workshops for over 7 years welcoming thousands of people from around the country. I have adapted my in person teaching to online courses I'm delighted to serve around the world now in 16 countries!  My business began from my kitchen table over 10 years ago, making candles for family then friends asked if I could teach them so I started running classes round my kitchen table which eventually expanded to a studio a year and a half later.  I create Private Label Candles for Luxury Hotels across Scotland and London, and work with clients such as Waldorf Astoria, Porsche, Novotel and Pullman.
