My name’s Marion Webber and I’ve been working in the field of Arts in Health and more general participatory arts for over a decade. Studies* have proven the benefits of taking part in creative activities that support our daily lives. I founded Arting Celfio during 2020, to enable Healthcare professionals and artists specialising within Arts and Health to collaborate and provide high-quality, tailor-made, person-centered arts projects. I am a practicing artist based in South Wales, with extensive experience in Participatory Arts Practice. This has given me the privilege to work with diverse participants on many commissions resulting in the installation of artworks in both temporary and permanent exhibitions. My art practice and knowledge inform how I collaborate and co-curate projects with Healthcare professionals and fellow artists within the field of Arts in Health. I have an MA (with Distinction - Arts Practice Arts, Health and Wellbeing) and gained a PGCE PcET Teaching Qualification (Post-16 and Adult Education sectors). I deliver creative workshops, informed by reflective practice and a commitment to continued professional development that connects, and provides meaningful activities that value people’s input and stories. Just another WordPress siteIn 2003 Laura & George Molloy set up Swimbabes, a company dedicated to teaching babies to swim. It was a decision they made after joining Aquababies in Manchester with their son Joshua were the benefits for both Josh and Mum and Dad where clear to see. In fact Laura & George loved the swimming lessons so much that they both decided to train as baby swim instructors and in 2003 took the leap and set up Swimbabes just after the birth of their second child, Eve. Laura states: “Giving up a job that I had done for years was scary but I knew I needed to make changes in my life… Swimming had been so rewarding for Joshua I decided to challenge myself and set up my own business, and I am so glad I did”. In October 2003 Swimbabes ran their first sessions at the Trinity Hydro pool in Huddersfield with just 11 little swimmers, extending later that year to run classes in Sheffield too with over 150 swimmers by the following summer. The business continued to grow and in 2005 opened the Swimbabes shop to sell lots of the items that were used in the lessons. In 2007 Swimbabes looked to extend its team with our Office Managers joining and continued to extend Swimbabes, adding our Swimstars programme in 2014. Swimbabes now operate across Yorkshire and North Derbyshire with over 1800 little swimmers attending classes each week.

I have always been a “water baby” and had my first taste of scuba diving in August 2001 in Cancun, Mexico and realized I had a new passion in life and in October 2006 I became a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor – I was delighted and I have been teaching scuba diving & first aid full time ever since, and now to be able to say that I am a RAID Instructor Trainer, is something that I am very proud of as it something that I have worked very hard for. I have been lucky enough to have worked and dived in some amazing locations around the world including the Red Sea, the Mediterranean, the Maldives, the Philippines and of course stacks of UK diving experience, along with this I have managed dive centres in Turkey, UK and the Philippines where I was lucky enough to research the amazing Thresher Shark but possibly my favourite place to dive has to be Scapa Flow in Orkney, Scotland. I can offer scuba diving training from beginner lesson, all recreational levels and specialty courses, Divemaster, Instructor, Technical and Rebreather courses. I am also a Marine Mammal Medic with British Divers Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR) and we help to rescue sick or injured marine life, mainly seals but also whales and dolphins to, the UK coastline really does have an amazing variety of life to see. And, yes, that really is me in the Kirby Morgan !

A bespoke twelve-week resilience and anger management programme, for your school. Sessions can be devised to meet your cohort requirements. Our programme supports Y5 & Y6, students who form part of your ‘hard to reach’ cohort, who without preventative intervention may struggle with transition into Y7 and may become at risk of permanent exclusion. Our programme can be tailored for Y7 students to support them further, post transition. Furthermore, we can adapt our programme to engage with vulnerable students who are low in confidence, self esteem and social skills. Week 1 is an introduction to the course to students. Weeks 2 -11 is; A one-hour period of Taekwondo, teaching students the importance of self-discipline and respect, whilst improving self-esteem, confidence and team working skills. A one-hour classroom-based session covering: mental health; mindfulness; sleep hygiene; relaxation & calming techniques; health and well-being; resilience and positive mental attitude. We can also deliver lessons exploring how to be a model citizen, and how to avoid becoming drawn into contemporary youth crime such as: anti-social behaviour; bullying; truancy; knife crime; gangs and substance misuse. We will also deliver lessons covering; parent abuse; internet safety; personal safety; child sexual exploitation (if the school deems appropriate); crime & consequences; and domestic violence.
