New Bridge Education Consultancy was established in 2021 August in Leicester, one of the UK's student centres, by Onur Yasar who is an English Teacher, IELTS specialist, CELTA certified at the University of Cambridge. Our founder, who has been working as an English instructor for students of all levels in colleges in Turkey since 1999, as well as a group leader in UK Summer-Winter School programs for 20 years, has moved to the UK and started consulting activities in order to continue his professional career under his own corporate umbrella. Our institution, which offers all the benefits of 20 years of group leadership experience to our students that will participate in Summer and Winter School programs from Turkey to the UK, will be happy to serve all our students and teachers who want to have an excellent UK experience.

Welcome to Louise Anne Designs!   I am Louise and I began my journey into Silver Metal clay whilst running a pottery studio and soon became hooked! The magic of turning a piece of clay into a solid piece of Hallmark Silver never fails to amaze me and I love sharing this with my students and helping them create a lovely piece of jewellery that they can wear proudly home makes my job the best. I hold a Higher Diploma in Silver Metal Clay and am a senior metal clay instructor and glass teacher. I have been teaching for over ten years running classes from my studio in Market Bosworth and many jewellery schools and galleries all around the Midlands area. I am a member of The Guild of Jewellers and am on the education committee of the alliance of metal clay. I also hold a Gold student choice award. One of my proudest moments was visiting Tokyo and seeing one of my pieces displayed in the Silver Accessories Exhibition. Nagarjuna KMC Leicester Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Centre (KMC) Leicester, exists to provide people in Leicester and the surrounding areas with the opportunity to learn how to meditate and practice the transformative teachings of the Buddha. Our Resident Teacher at Nagarjuna KMC Leicester is Kadam Chris Heyes. He is a dedicated student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for over 27 years. Kadam Chris is married with two children and shows by example how to integrate meditation into a busy family life. His teachings are always practical and easy to apply to everyday life. Through his gentle and joyful approach and his peaceful example, he has helped many people find true happiness in their hearts. Kadam Chris is also a renowned Kadampa Buddhist artist.

I loved every minute of the weekend I spent on Liz's retreat. A beautiful place, instantly welcoming, a perfectly judged mix of yoga and down time (in which I managed to fit in a facial, a sound bath and a nap!), delicious, thoughtful food. I went on my own and left feeling so lucky to have spent time amongst such a range of fantastic group of women. Liz is a brilliant yoga teacher who encouraged us all to try new things, anticipated challenges and offered alternatives, helped me connect my breathing with movements and really take myself out of my head... But beyond that she, and the team she bought together for the retreat, have the most beautiful vibe - full of sunshine and fun and love and way of creating an incredibly nurturing atmosphere that is also genuinely joyful. Not surprisingly, I've signed up for the next one!

I feel very privileged to be the Headteacher for the West T PeacockBridgford School. It is a school with an excellent academic reputation; we have consistently been the highest performing school in the county for many years in a range of important measures and one of the best schools in the country. Safeguarding is at the heart of our work in school; we recognise that students who do not feel safe and secure are not able to thrive and achieve. Our students feel safe in school, we are a very caring school and pride ourselves on having a strong and highly competent pastoral team. Each year group is led by a teacher in the post of Year Director, supported by a non-teaching Pastoral Assistant who are always on hand to support the students in our care. Edward is committed to supporting people move towards wholeness and the role education can play in this process. Edward researches mindfulness, integral and transpersonal psychology and well-being as both a member and convenor of postgraduate research at the Centre for Research in Human Flourishing (University of Nottingham). An avid reader, he is particularly inspired by the writings of Adyashanti, Stanislav Grof, Bernardo Kastrup, Gabor Maté, Rupert Spira, Alan Watts and Ken Wilber. Edward has written numerous articles, book chapters and books on these topics himself. Edward has been rigorously trained, he received a First Class (Hons) Degree in Education and Art from the University of Exeter in 1998 and a PhD in Peace Education and Sociocultural Theory from the University of Birmingham in 2003. Edward is a qualified mindfulness teacher, trained by Patrizia Collard/Enter Mindfulness, a Life Coach and a SoulCollage® Facilitator. He has taken the core modules of the Grof Transpersonal Trainer (GTT) Programme, covering the paradigm of Holotropic Breathwork, The Power Within (Bodywork), Music & Transcendence and Spiritual Emergency. He has also taken elective modules in Jung, Alchemy & The Transformation of Consciousness, and Inner Ethics/Soul Collage. This training has been supplemented by further training from the TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) College and the College of Sound Healing . As part of ongoing quality assurance, Edward receives regular supervision in mindfulness, TRE® and Holotropic Breathwork®, actively researching all of these fields, attending regular conferences, courses and retreats to ensure his work and guidance is informed by deep inner experience and the latest research and good practice. Edward is also a member of the Association for Spiritual Integrity and follows their honour code of ethics and good practice for individuals. Edward has attended a Quaker meeting all of his adult life, adopting a contemplative and universal approach to spirituality. He has served as both a Clerk and Elder to his local. 'Clerkship' involves engaging contemplative approaches and discernment to make spiritually-informed group decisions. Edward continues to practise art, focusing on contemporary altars, shrines and portraiture drawing upon studies at the University of Exeter and the Slade School of Art, London. His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions, winning the prestigious Attenborough Prize in 2011. Edward accepts commissions and much of his work is available for sale. Artwork can be an excellent tool for integration and creativity is employed to help with this process in many of Edward’s courses and workshops.
