Creative textiles skills workshop for textiles enthusiasts and teachers

An Exciting Practical Face to Face Course working with a heat press, for anyone wanting to learn new textile skills and techniques.

Our fun and engaging play-based Spanish sessions for children include lots of singing, interactive games and activities and storytelling in Spanish. They are aimed at children aged 2-4 but if your little one is slightly older or younger you are still welcome to join us and see if they like it! They last for 45 minutes, with an extra 15 minutes at the end of the session for children to play and parents/carers to socialise over a cup of tea of coffee. They are delivered by a qualified native Spanish teacher with full GTCS registration and PVG and nearly ten years of experience teaching languages internationally. Come along to one of our trial sessions and see if this is something you and your little one would enjoy! If this is the case, you can then purchase a block of sessions and learn Spanish with us weekly! We look forward to seeing you :)

We will then explore a range of lighting styles and techniques and how to achieve them. There will be plenty of opportunity to practise these techniques throughout the day, with Cathy giving guidance and feedback. You are welcome to bring some of your jewellery, together with any props or stands, as well as any photographic equipment you may have (you can use either a camera or a phone, and a tripod is highly recommended). WHEN: Saturday 28th September 10 – 3.30pm WHERE:  Workshop 925 based at The Mayford Centre, just outside of Woking and very close to Guildford.
