Our Artist Retreat is a week-long retreat that gives you the chance to immerse yourself in the art of your choice, from beginner to advanced. We'll give you expert tuition in the arts and crafts of your choice, so you can spend your week focused on learning and exploring your creativity. At Gifted Crafts, we believe that everyone is an artist. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, we promise you'll find something new to learn at our retreat. You'll be immersed in an unforgettable week of activities and hands-on learning in the arts and crafts of your choice—from pewter casting to bookbinding, from enamelling to printing, from drawing to felting, from painting to yarn craft. Immerse yourself in Zen music, diffusing essential oils, cuppa green tea and interact with the sand. Good choice for relaxation! About the workshop Rocks, sand, plants and rakes. These are the elements of forming a Japanese zen garden. It is a kind of Japanese traditional art that you can find in Japanese temples especially in Kyoto and Tokyo. Using different kinds of sand rakes and bamboo rakes to create your own gravel pattern. In the workshop, you will be introduced the concepts and basic techniques of Japanese Zen Garden. An individual table set of zen garden materials will be provided. Are you ready to create enamel jewellery from scratch? You don't need any experience, and we'll guide you through everything step by step. We'll help you prepare the copper, layer powders, and glass embellishments, then fire and finish your piece to take home with you. You'll have a wide variety of jewellery types to choose from, which means endless possibilities for your own vibrant designs!

Designed in conjunction with the Professional Yahcting Association (PYA) this 2 day course builds upon existing basic powerboating knowledge and skills to allow you to gain confidence in your ability to manouevre a powerboat smoothly whilst completing tasks such as pilotage (by day and night), passenger carriage and management. This course is intended for operators responsible for ferrying passengers between superyachts and shore at day or night, operating short handed. Power Courses Our powerboat training is currently delivered on an MCA coded 7.8m Ribcraft with a 200hp Suzuki four stroke outboard engine and an E-series Raymarine chart plotter. We maintain a 3:1 student to instructor ratio which allows our experienced RYA instructors to tailor courses to the various levels and needs on board and deliver at a manageable pace. All course costs include tea and coffee, waterproofs are available on request.

A perfect introduction into some of the pattern cutting skills you’ll need to create and design your own bag patterns. Are you looking to: Start your own bag brand? Design your own bags? Following a varied career in Accessories design and development across many roles and international brands I set up Hands of Tym in 2016. The courses I offer are suitable for all, from experienced to total novice. Come along to learn something new, and design and make your own leather bag in a day.

This course is suitable for all. You will learn how to make your own egg tempera paint from natural pigments and produce your own 10 x 12 " painting. All materials are included in the price but please bring old clothes/apron.

Our Enamel on Silver Clay Workshop is perfect for beginners and intermediate students who want to learn how to add colour to silver using champlevé and other techniques. In this workshop, you'll learn how to use silver clay and enamel to create beautiful pieces of jewellery that are full of depth and character. We'll start by covering the basics of working with silver clay, then move on to adding enamel. Once we've laid out the basics, we'll show you how to add colour to your piece by using a variety of techniques. This workshop will give you a chance to develop skills in two beautiful techniques that will help you take your work from good to great!
