(8-10yrs) Tap uses a different skill set to Ballet and Jazz as the emphasise is on creating rhythm and sound using footwork. Due to the nature of Tap, the physicality of the work is mainly focused on the legs, hips, knees and ankles and of course those tapping feet! Tap teaches a great sense of rhythm, timing and musical awareness. TRIAL BOOKINGS: Of course you are welcome to watch the trial class but following the trial, WhizzDancers are expected to be independent in the room. TERM BOOKINGS: You are welcome to watch the first class but following this your WhizzDancer will be expected to go in the class independently. You will be expected to provide full uniform. Details will be sent following. We have lots of opportunities ahead for your WhizzDancer including exams and shows. Private German Lessons Private German lessons are ideal for busy professionals wanting to learn German. We teach German in-person at offices and homes and can start throughout the year. Flexible lesson timings from week to week allow our German lessons to fit into a busy schedule. Our beginner, intermediate and advanced German lessons cover comprehension, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary build-up and grammar. We assess every student’s level and aptitude before starting. Lessons will then progress at their pace, and we structure our German courses towards industry and profession. One-to-One German Lessons Every student benefits from one designated private German tutor. Tutor-continuity ensures good rapport and enables the tutor to consider the student’s strengths and abilities. We recommend one-to-one German lessons twice a week with sufficient time between lessons for self-study and homework for rapid progress. Beginners should have a basic understanding of German after a few sittings. Returning learners will find their German fluency and confidence rapidly improving. German Language Lessons Being independent of the academic year means starting at any time. Students can adjust lesson timings on a week-to-week basis. This flexibility, combined with course delivery on-site, in-company and online, makes it possible to integrate our German language courses into a busy schedule.

Suitable for complete beginners Age 15 plus Join Lynne from Pots of Magic to create your own ceramic Greenman plaque . During this 3 hour workshop you will be guided through each section using basic hand building and sculpting techniques . During the first 90 minutes you will sculpt and form the face ,with the opportunity to create your own unique character . There will then be a teabreak before you add the foliage to your Greenman Foliage will be provided however if you wish to personalise your plaque using leaves from your own garden please do not hesitate to do so . (Please note leaves are rolled into the clay to leave an imprint then cut out .therefore leaves with veins give best results ) Once finished your clay creation will dry out slowly for 2 weeks before under going its first kiln firing . Once bisque fired it will then be professionally glazed by Lynne and enter the kiln again for its final firing . Your final piece will be ready for collection 4 to 5 weeks later from Ainsdale .
