 The Generic Instructor Course trains future Instructors in the principles of adult learning. These skills can then be used to teach fellow healthcare professionals at a number of our courses, including ALS, EPALS, APLS and NLS.This course is a joint collaboration between Resuscitation Council UK and the Advanced Life Support Group (ALSG). Around 900 Instructors are trained on this course every year.This course consists of a day of e-learning followed by two days of face-to-face attendance, which will take place in a Resuscitation Council UK Course Centre.&nbsp;
 Across the two day face-to-face sessions, Candidates will attend a lecture before taking part in practical sessions that cover the teaching modalities required to teach the provider courses. These include approaches to teaching skills acquisition, facilitating simulation, undertaking assessments and providing feedback to candidates.After successful completion of the GIC, Candidates must teach on two provider courses as an Instructor Candidate (IC) within two years of the GIC in order to complete their training and receive their qualification.We also have an option to pay for your GIC with teaching time. How do I attend?

EITHER -
CLASSROOM OPTION - Attend one of our scheduled classroom locations, completing your Introduction to Phlebotomy Course over 2 days. You will also complete your Advanced Training at the end of the first day and your Competency Training at the end of the second day.

Our Introduction to Phlebotomy and Advanced Phlebotomy Training Kits are supplied at no charge when booking our virtual classroom training option.
If you would like to add one or both of these kits to your classroom training option then these are available to add at time of booking. Our comprehensive training kits each mirror the same equipment and supplies used in the classroom and both include detailed video tutorials, allowing you to continue to practice and "hone" your skills after you have completed your practical training.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM OPTION- Complete your theory training online at home or work, then join us for a one day Zoom session to complete your Introduction to Phlebotomy virtual classroom training, followed by your Advanced Training in the evening of the same day. Dear all, 

I invite you to join me on Saturday to immerse ourselves into the powerful energies coming through the Lion's Gate under the Full Moon in Aquarius, and embark on a journey of transmutation and alchemy, leading to the retrieval and expansion of our creative powers.

Many of us have seen their creativity being stifled since a young age, having to fit the rules and confines of a wounded, fear based society, and this has affected in many cases our paths, our confidence and our manifestation skills.

We have assumed self-sabotaging patterns and sent away creative, playful and wild parts of ourselves, in order to navigate this heavy version of the earthly lives.

The Goddess is here for us while we heal all this and reintegrate all those estranged parts. Our souls are calling us to step into our full power and open up our full potential, in a way that can't be ignored anymore.

What better time to do this than under the sign of the Lion, which holds the codes of our unthetered Selves, of our innocence, our pure creativity, courage and confidence?

What better time than when the Moon is fully illuminated by the Sun under the sign of the Aquarius, the archetype the outcast, the maverick, the revolutionary, the weaver of comunities, the alchemical water bearer?

And what better time than the time when we are being called, when our senses are wide open, and when we feel the turning of the wheel with every fiber in our body?

Each step that we take is bringing us further on the path to ourselves, and each step that we are taking together is creating a huge leap for humanity, so I'm really looking forward to this and I hope that you can join me.

For those who are familiar with the IEC, I'd like to say that the massive downloads that led to its creation have occured during the Lion's Gate 8 years ago (2017), with it's first “incarnation” being materialised on the 17.08.2017. 
Recently, I've been feeling very clearly that the IEC is preparing for taking a quantum leap, in resonance and support of the quantum leap that is now in our potential for us to take.

THE SESSION

We'll be welcoming in our guides, specifically the consciousness of our Sun, our Moon and of the Sirius Star. 

The Goddess Hathor / Venus has been working with me in a very applied way in the past weeks in preparation of welcoming the energies coming through the Lions Gate, and this workshop is my way of sharing these experiences and expanding them together with those who will feel called to join me.

We'll start with a short talk, introducing our guides and the energies that we are going to work with and we'll follow up with a healing journey which will include short Light Langugage transmissions, to help us integrate and ground the energies that we'll be accessing.

During the journey, I will be transfering to the participants the Angelic Reiki energy from the healing pod which I've opened in advance of the workshop. This will also be embeded in the video recording of the session.

As always, our work will be supported by the IEC (Interdimensional Energy Converter), which is a high vibration multidimensional device, working in the quantum field and bridging between spirituality and science, acting as a Gate of Consciousness, an experimental and experiential technology meant to increase the flow of Light in the heavier, denser dimensions.

M03 - Specialised and Advanced Phlebotomy Equipment:
The centrifuge - overview. Safe operation and use. Managing a centrifuge breakage or spillage.

Patients with special needs and requiring specific attention.
Equipment preparation for blood samples that are collected at
0 degrees, 37 degrees C and other non-standard conditions.

2 - Syringe and Needle (open system): Correct use and applications.
3 - Monovette (open and closed systems):
Using the Monovette system in aspiration mode - correct use and applications.
Using the Monovette system in evacuated mode - correct use and applications.
4 - IR Vein Detector:
Demonstration of the IR vein detector for assisting in detection of difficult veins.
5 - Veins in back of hand:
Detecting suitable veins in the back of the hand.
6 - POC testing:
Point of Care Testing - use of glucose meter to demonstrate a typical POC test procedure. Correct use and overview of other POC test devices.
7 - Using lancets (finger collection)
We look at the correct use of lancets for POC testing and whole blood micro-collection.
8 - Using lancets (heel collection)
We look at the correct use of lancets for neonatal blood spot tests (Guthrie Test).
9 - Capillary collection
Using glass capillary tubes for micro-collection. Correct use and handling.
10 - Microtube collection
Correct use of BD Microtainers (and similar micro-collection bottles) - collection and handling.

Our Peripheral IV Cannulation Course and Injection Course training kits are supplied at no charge when booking our virtual classroom training option.
If you would like to add one or both of these kits to your classroom training option then these are available for you to add at time of booking. Training kits mirror the same equipment and supplies used in the classroom and both include detailed video instructions, allowing you to continue to practice and "hone" your skills after you have completed your practical training.

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM OPTION- Complete your theory training online at home or work, then join us for your one full day to complete your cannulation and injection course training.

Our Virtual Classroom option includes two very comprehensive training kits - one for your cannulation course and one for your injection course. Kits are included at no charge (normally £79.95 and £39.95 respectively) and are yours to keep and to continue to practice with after you have finished your courses. The equipment and supplies included in your kits are the same as those used if you choose the classroom option.

The Real Estate Financial Modelling School is an intensive week meticulously designed to teach the best practices to create flexible and robust cash flows in Excel.

On this course you will…
Implement cash flows in excel throughout the whole week.
In the first two days you will learn how to develop rent functions and net operating income. We will show you how to value and appraise property investments and analyse the results.
On the third and fourth day you will learn how to model and analyse development projects using both residuals and cash flow methods. It will show you how to interrogate and compare alternative return metrics such as profit-equity multiples, profit and cost, net present value, worth and internal rate of return. Additionally you will cover how to model cash flow from different sector office, retail and leisure.
Finally on the fifth day debt structures will be covered as well as joint ventures and partnership financing. You will also learn how to implement the full spectrum of the risk analysis from sensitivity to Monte Carlo.
