tryumph in life
Baslow
After enjoying an international athletics career that spanned over 10 years and
culminated in a European bronze medal at 800m, I felt a strong desire to want to
give back. The happiness and enjoyment I find in being active and eating
healthily, plus the psychological growth that comes hand in hand with pushing
your limits is something that I love to try and share with and nurture in
others. Since retiring from professional athletics in 2012, I have set about
doing just that. Using the experiences – both good and bad – from my career, I
have passionately ploughed my energies into developing TrYumph in Life. Ever
since I was young I have had a huge passion and love for sports! Whether it was
kicking a football around in the garden with my brother or playing cricket on
the school fields, there isn’t a sport I haven’t played! I joined TrYumph as a
coach after the last few years teaching primary PE. As a professional athlete
myself, I know the importance of helping the kids learn skills and have fun
during there sporting journeys and I am passionate about helping them to get off
to a good start!
