Asbestos surveyors, or managers of surveyors and surveying teams. Asbestos re-inspectors or anyone that undertakes asbestos re-inspections. Those who require a detailed understanding of asbestos surveying principles (e.g. asbestos report writers, architects, building surveyors etc.) Prior Knowledge and Understanding Candidates for this course are expected to be aware of the contents of HSG 264 Asbestos, the survey guide and have a minimum of six months prior experience of assisting on asbestos surveys. In addition, candidates are expected to have had training to cover the core competencies outlined within the foundation material detailed within Table A9.1 of HSG248 Asbestos: The Analysts' Guide (July 2021). P405 Managing Asbestos in Buildings is the industry standard qualification for those whose work involves asbestos management, such as duty holders and building managers. In addition to holding the qualification, they are required to undertake and provide evidence of annual refresher training. RP405 Refresher is a new course, specifically designed to meet this requirement. RP405 Refresher enables candidates to revise and update their knowledge on good asbestos management practices, and to receive a certificate of course completion by passing a written examination, which covers both the theory and practice of managing asbestos in buildings.

P402 Surveying and sampling strategies for asbestos in buildings is the industry standard qualification for asbestos surveyors. In addition to holding the qualification, asbestos surveyors are required to undertake and provide evidence of annual refresher training.

Courses are aimed at supporting engineering apprentices and T-Level learners who are taking their first steps into the workplace environment, providing basic information in a range of key health and safety hazards in the engineering workplace. Modules allow an understanding of the concept of hazard and risk, a learner's own and their employer's legal obligations, the types and nature of safety hazards and how to avoid the hazard or reduce its risk of causing harm and how to respond to emergency situations. In addition to common mandatory health and safety modules, learners will also choose modules relevant to their occupational pathway.
