Are you ready to make your own silver clay ring? We'll give you the skills, tools and the space to manipulate, join and decorate in silver clay. Choose from 4 styles of rings to create your own unique design. In this workshop you will learn how to make a ring from scratch. You can develop your own design for a special occasion or just for fun! Have you got that special someone in your life or want to make a statement ring for yourself? In this afternoon session, you will create your very own set of 3 silver stacking rings. WHAT TO BRING: For safety reasons, during each class, you are required to wear appropriate footwear, we request that no open toed shoes are worn within Workshop 925. Our Enamel on Silver Clay Workshop is perfect for beginners and intermediate students who want to learn how to add colour to silver using champlevé and other techniques. In this workshop, you'll learn how to use silver clay and enamel to create beautiful pieces of jewellery that are full of depth and character. We'll start by covering the basics of working with silver clay, then move on to adding enamel. Once we've laid out the basics, we'll show you how to add colour to your piece by using a variety of techniques. This workshop will give you a chance to develop skills in two beautiful techniques that will help you take your work from good to great!

In this exciting, educational and intriguing full day sea glass course, you will be shown how to make your own solid silver jewellery pieces incorporating sea glass and take away your own unique pieces to wear and treasure or as gifts for loved ones.

However during our terms we run demonstrations which are relevant to student projects to help them complete aspects of their project- other students are welcome to watch these too, we also run demonstrations requested by students, this might be a repeat of something a student would like a refresher on, or maybe a technique they would like to learn for their next project and we will also provide demonstrations to strive to introduce you to new skills. We also like to keep you up to date with industry news, show you designer inspiration to help you learn methods to process new ideas and gain an understanding of design processes behind jewellery making.
