Speak The Speech is a regular free acting class that uses monologues as the focus to develop the performers personal process. During the pandemic of 2020/2021 Speak The Speech moved to online sessions and focused on writing and performing, culminating in the publishing of an anthology of monologues; "Locked Down, a collection of modern monologues" is available on amazon in paperback and kindle. Warren created and led an international Acting Shakespeare Masterclass series in NYC, Vancouver and London when he co-ran Passion in Practice, an award winning Original Practices Shakespeare Ensemble, performing Shakespeare on three continents. Bison Arts Collective is a community of artists who come together to make and share original work with audiences and to create opportunities for artists to practise & perform. Theatre is at the heart of Bison but, as well as staging short plays & new writing shows at fringe theatres, we also put on evenings of music, poetry & comedy, and we’ve produced the pilot episodes of indie film projects & audio dramas. We are currently running a monthly play reading group too, "Shakespeare Sessions” at the Theatre Deli bar & café at Leadenhall Street.

Learn from only the bestThe 4th New Talent British International Youth Music Competition is organised by Amy Yuan Academy in association with British Music Society. The Royal Academy of Music is an Official Partner Institution. This year’s competition will be held online due to the restrictions posted by the Covid-19 development. The Competition aims to offer young people the opportunity to showcase their musical talents, a forum to exchange ideas with young musicians from other countries and cultures and to receive impartial feedback, encouragement and assessment of their performances by UK’s top music professors and educators. In light of the global impact of Covid-19, we also hope that this competition will serve as a platform where people come together to celebrate their mutual love of music and feel supported and inspired that music will always bring light to our lives and lift us as we find our way through difficult times. We offer New Talent Talks 2021 which is a series of talks hosted by members of our Jury Panel and other guest speakers. These talks are free of charge for participating Competition candidates and took place online during the week beginning 16th August 2021 and the rebroadcasts are still going on this week.

Most students are between 18 – 24 years old and the length of a typical stay is 4 – 6 months. In Denmark we have a long Folk High School tradition – the first school was founded in 1844. What is an international Folk High School? More and more international students attend the Danish Folk High Schools, but what classifies an international Folk High School is that the school has more international than Danish students and that everything at the school happens in English language. International People’s College is the only international ‘general’ Folk High School in Denmark.

FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR HANNAH TITLEY Hannah founded The Golden Circle in 2017 after qualifying as a teacher through the Teach First programme. Teaching in the classroom showed that school doesn’t work for everyone. For children who are talented in sports, art, or music, or who require extra academic support or challenge, school doesn’t bring out their best. Born in Manchester, Hannah was educated at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls before reading Biological Sciences at New College, Oxford University. She holds a first class Master’s degree from King’s College London and PGCE teaching qualification which is rated ‘Outstanding’. In addition to teaching, Hannah has worked as a Researcher for Oxford University and Reform think tank. She is Director of the Home Schooling Association and continues to teach Science at Key Stage 4 and 5. She speaks regularly at education events and provides written commentary for national media including the BBC, The Times, Telegraph and The Guardian. HEAD OF OPERATIONS LYDIA TITLEY Lydia is originally from Manchester and completed her secondary education at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls. Following this, her interest in French language and culture led her to the University of Bath, where she completed a BSc in International Business Management and French. Lydia took the opportunity to spend a year in Paris where she attended the prestigious business school of ESCP Paris, studying a bilingual Master’s in Management, and worked as a European Account Manager at an international Marketing and Publishing firm. Lydia joined The Golden Circle team in 2018, where she holds the role of Head of Operations. In her spare time, Lydia enjoys yoga and is currently completing a Mindfulness Teacher Training course. She has a keen interest in the arts, theatre and travel.
