Immanuel School Multi Academy Trust

Dartford

The Emmanuel School Trust was established by Emmanuel Community Church International, along with The Greenleaf Trust and ECC Nursery, to fulfil the fellowship’s commitment to “Serve the Community Relevantly.” TEST is committed to providing excellent opportunities for all children in our communities, regardless of their faith, background or ability. We highlight faith values as a catalyst for reinforcing positive attitudes and our excellent provision for children’s spiritual, social, cultural and moral development permeates our schools. Our Rationale Our rationale for setting up free schools is to meet socio economic challenges and to improve standards of provision for children. We are determined to offer real choices to parents, with particular attention to the needs of the transient and cosmopolitan families in highly deprived areas. Children who would otherwise fail to fulfil their potential due to barriers such as poverty, English as an additional Language (EAL); will be challenged and supported in our schools, transforming them into high achievers. We emphasise the value and worth of each individual in order to develop a positive self-image and resilience in children. We work closely with other organisations and stakeholders to share best practice and resources. Our schools promote British values which include democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.

Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust

perth and kinross heritage trust

Perth,

Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust (PKHT) is a registered Scottish Charity that has been established since 1988. Our Vision A Perth and Kinross that values, embraces and enhances the economic, social and environmental benefits of its historic environment We realise this vision through the development and delivery of projects, the administration of grants, the provision of information and advice, and a programme of outreach, learning and training activities. Working independently and collaboratively to preserve, enhance and increase understanding of Perth and Kinross’s historic environment Since 1988 the Trust has been achieving a wide remit encompassing historic building conservation, archaeology, access to the historic environment and interpretation. Supported by Heritage Lottery Fund Transition funding, the Trust began an organisational review in 2016 which culminated in our 2017-22 strategic plan. This document sets out our vision, values and priorities and has recently been updated with a Covid-19 response statement for 2021-22 and a further strategic plan for the 2023-2027 period. Our emphasis has always been, and continues to be, on a high quality approach, bringing economic, social and educational benefit while securing a future for Perth and Kinross’s historic environment. We realise our vision, mission and objectives through the development and delivery of projects, the administration of grants, the provision of information and advice, and a programme of outreach, learning and training activities. Conserving our shared cultural heritage is important for many reasons: maintaining ‘sense of place’, providing a resource for learning and education for local communities, and as a driver for sustainable economic development through events and destinations for visitors and tourists. We believe the rich physical heritage of Perth and Kinross, in the form of archaeological remains and historic buildings and landscapes, should be enjoyed by everyone, and we aim to facilitate this through our projects and outreach events. We are committed to developing and delivering activities and projects that increase awareness, understanding and appreciation of the historic environment. Supported by a range of funders, our outreach, learning and participation activities are often delivered as a core part of larger funded projects such as the King’s Seat Hillfort Archaeology Project. Outside of these projects, we also co-ordinate annual feature event programmes such as Doors Open Days. Please explore our website to find out more about what we do and why we do it. PKHT is a Scottish Charity (SC003139) and a company, limited by guarantee. View a copy our Memorandum and Articles of Association to find out more about our objects and governance.

Findhorn Nairn & Lossie Rivers Trust

findhorn nairn & lossie rivers trust

London

The Findhorn Nairn and Lossie Rivers Trust continue to address the issues facing our rivers and the wildlife that depends on them. Our FNLRT Management Plan 2021 details the diverse range of projects we are planning to help conserve and restore our river catchments. Over the course of the last two centuries removal of natural forests, overgrazing and changing land use have significantly degraded the ecosystems of our rivers. Moreover, we now face a climate crisis which is causing increasing global temperatures and dramatically changing weather patterns. These factors combine to present a very serious threat to wildlife in the catchment of our rivers, particularly to salmon. This demands our urgent attention and to tackle this we are delighted to launch the Findhorn Watershed Initiative. Through this ambitious initiative we seek to bring the River Findhorn Watershed’s communities, landowners, businesses, farmers, land managers, local authorities, and educational institutions together to work at nature’s scale to sink carbon, restore habitat, and mitigate the impacts of the twin crises of climate change and biodiversity loss for future generations. These are global threats, which require large scale programs and significant funding to begin to reverse the trends. The Trust recognises that we have an important part to play to ensure that our river catchments benefit from these initiatives. To be effective, projects will need to be coordinated at a scale beyond that of individual land holdings. A natural unit for this coordination is the river catchments. We will only succeed if we work in coalition with landowners and local interests, across catchments and with partners who enable scale and additional resources to be brought to bear on these issues. We continue to work with all our friends and partners to make a difference in this important work to improve the quality of our river environments. Coronavirus Restrictions due to coronavirus have been removed and the Trust Office at Logie Steading is open again. Staff will operate a blended approach, working from home and from the office. Our contacted details at the foot of this page. Further information and guidance for proprietors and anglers is available from Scottish Government and Fisheries Management Scotland.
