the goliath trust

The Goliath Digital Learning Hub (DLH) is made up of teachers from our Goliath Trust schools which are located in disadvantaged areas in and round Belfast. With schools currently focusing on learning in the classroom and at home, the DLH teachers continue to focus on ways to address this. The DLH teachers support one another, through mentorship and learning communities, and have shared our ‘Gino the Dino’ Learn to Earn initiative with the wider school communities. The Learn to Earn initiative aims to motivate learners to engage and complete different daily tasks that promote social and emotional wellbeing, reading and other teacher activities. It is crucial to deliver the message that teachers care about their pupils education by encouraging different ways of learning, daily contact and check ins.

About Newforge - general information Newforge is home to The Royal Ulster Constabulary Athletic Association Limited (the Association) incorporating the Police Service of Northern Ireland. The Association is a registered Charity – (NIC)106083. The Newforge complex is comprised of a facility containing conference rooms, meeting rooms, a restaurant and wellbeing services; and various sport grass sports pitches outdoors.
