We do this by developing and providing opportunities to women’s aspirations.Our projects are organised to provide access and enablement taking account of women’s lives and choices, with regard to timing, class-size and using holistic support model. We address specific barriers women face.We provide access to high quality on-site childcare focussed on the needs of the child. We provide information, guidance and signposting services. We support the development of women’s groups and support organisations delivering programmes with a focus on enabling women who live in disadvantage communities who face multiple barriers to participation. We strive for financial sustainability through our social economy programme. We provide a voice for women from disadvantaged communities by engaging in regional forums and partnerships, locally, regionally and globally.

Our toddler sessions are designed to embed early recognition of colours and shapes. We explore painting, crafts, textures, shapes, colour and sounds and finish with educational song time. Our songs are designed to help build on language skills and confidence at working with others. We build on knowledge of rhythm and rhyme and provide an excellent opportunity to bond with your little one.

magical music club

This music club is for children from tiny tots to teenagers. In it they discover about music and (if they wish) the violin, viola or piano in an enjoyable and relaxed manner. I provide lessons where the children learn through rhyme and song musical concepts such as pulse, rhythm and pitch. A creative and fun learning environment is produced using puppets, parachute games, action songs, and many different instruments. Children learn musical concepts naturally by ear then, later, how these concepts are notated. This is ideal preparation for learning any musical instrument not just the violin or piano.

Our Baby & Pre-school programme is a wonderful bonding experience. Progressive lesson plans instil water-confidence and a love of swimming whilst our expert teachers tailor activities to your child’s abilities and needs. Taught in lovely, warm pools with a maximum of ten children, our classes incorporate rhyme, music and movement based on extensive child development research; we are the only national baby swim school that is 100% child-led. Our lessons are so well-received that the children we teach can often swim over 10m before they start school.

We are a small community led organisation offering opportunities to bring families together, support parenting and provide strategies, ideas, and activities to support everyday life. We work with families from conception through to starting school aged 4. We offer a range of workshops and activities such as, what to expect when expecting parenting advice supporting early development, potty training & sleep workshops a variety of evidence based parenting programs such as Triple P and Circle of Security P group story & rhyme time plus a range of services that can be tailored to suit individual need We have successfully, and continue to, apply for grant funding to offer a range of community based projects with the aim to embed community cohesion. Who can access our services? We reach families in a variety of ways such as direct work with parents/carers on a fee-paying basis corporate organisations can buy in live parenting workshops that can be delivered to employees as part of a well-being strategy early years settings to support their learning environment and engagement with parents
