Join UKDA's photography guru for a day with your detailed pride and joy. The day is primarily designed for those with dedicated cameras such as DSLR or Mirrorless (as opposed to mobile phone cameras), but includes post-production and composition principles that are useful for all forms of photography. The day starts with a back-to-basics look at the principles of photography, with a hands-on approach to make your camera's manual mode feel like second nature. We then move on to different types of lenses and filters and how they can be used to the best effect. We briefly look at lighting and using flash before focusing on different types of automotive photography. In the afternoon we will head out to a different location, and after some time to prepare your vehicles, we will start putting the principles into practice, so you will have some awesome shots by the end of the day. For this course, you will need to bring your camera, fully charged and with an appropriate memory card. Outdoor clothing would also be sensible. from working with vegan leather or fabric.You will be taught how to correctly use hand tools, how to sew leather by hand, with an industrial machine and understand the most common finishing and construction techniques used in bag and accessory making.You will learn about different types of leather and understand how to select the correct type of material(s) for your project.You will receive an overview of the technical aspects of working with leather and constructing bags and accessories such as marking, cutting, gluing, reinforcing, skiving, debossing and more.You will receive professional sewing training on industrial machines, you will learn the basic of saddle stitching and produce your own samples of work to take home with you.You will receive relevant, useful and informative handouts as well as lists of leather and tool suppliers.At the end of the lesson, you will create a hand sewn simple leather item such as a purse or card holder to take home with you.This Penthrox® is also often referred to as “The Green Whistle”. Penthrox® is ideal for medics in UK Fire Brigades, Police Forces, Coastguard, Mountain Rescue, High Risk Industries, RNLI and the Event Medical industry. Penthrox® is cost effective, small and lightweight when compared with Entonox and can be included as part of a range of pain relieving options. Penthrox® is a Prescription Only Medication (POM) which is to be used in accordance with company/organisational policy and/or Emergency Directives or Patient Group Directives. Course Information Venue: All our 'Open' courses are delivered from our dedicated training venue: Pulse South Coast Ltd, Bentley Wildfowl, Harveys Lane, Ringmer, BN8 5AF On occasion we may use a separate venue, this will be advised on the course booking. Facilities: On your course you will be provided with tea & coffee making facilities and biscuits. We are in a rural location so we recommend brining lunch with you on the day.
