Learners must be at least 17 years old on the first day of training. Learners must hold a valid in date FREC3 certificate. The Learner needs to retake the qualification before the certificate expiry date to remain qualified. This qualification is for people who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide prehospital care to patients requiring emergency care/treatment. This 6 hour medical gases course is for workplaces and individuals who have access to and are expected to use medical gases. This course includes Oxygen & Entonox and its role in resuscitation and emergency therapy. The entry requirements for this course are you must be at least 16 years of age on the first day of training, and hold a Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification (or recognised equivalent).
