Weekend course to learn how to make a small mosaic sculpture and a bird bath.

Create your own Paper Mache Angel Workshop This workshop is all about getting creative using your hands and moulding these beautiful impressive wings which will be perfect to decorate your home! At this Two Day Workshop you learn how to create these amazing centre piece Paper Mache Angel Wings which are lit to make gorgeous ambient lights and wall art! Workshop is suitable for age 10 and upwards!  What's included: A basic shaped pair of wing, prepared for you to mould and Paper Mache with us. Embellishment, but it’s up to you what colour you paint them and what you embellish them with. We provide the paint, rhinestones and twinkling lights but it’s your choice how you personalise them...you can use flowers, feathers...just bring them along! It’s a great experience gift or just treat yourself! You choose your size Large 87cm X 70cm Medium 70cm X 76cm A light lunch & tea/ coffee will be included on this Two Day Workshop. Make this unusual Polish basket using English willow. You will be able to choose your own combination of willows making your basket truly individual. During the day you will learn several key weaving techniques and find out how the willow is grown, harvested and processed The course is suitable for beginners or improvers. Refreshments included. This set of 6 morning workshops (over 6 weeks) is designed to allow you the opportunity to explore a wide range of techniques to create beautifully unique fused glass jewellery & decorative objects. After a brief introduction to the historical context and language of fused glass you will be guided through using techniques such as scoring, cutting £0& layering sheet & accessory glass, adding mica or oxide powders to create sparkle and bubbles, use of kiln carving to create subtle textures, using inclusions of wire & precious metal foils and painting or stencilling with 'glassline' paints etc. you will create at least 2 pieces per session and these will be fired and ready to add finishing touches on the subsequent session ( pieces made during the final date will be fired & finished and ready for collection after 7 days) we will mainly focus on jewellery but larger items can be made eg.
