Enhance your SkillsBuilding on Level One and the skillset developed, you will be advancing onto more advanced machine polishing and cleaning techniques, to progress your detailing career and skillset further. Existing valeters and detailers confident in their skillset's reflection of Level One's content may also qualify to bypass to this level, should they be able to demonstrate their qualification by purchasing, taking, and passing with sufficient breadth, our online Level One assessment. Machines introduced at this level include forced rotation dual action polishers, every inception of Dual action polishers, both in throw and size. We'll also look at pad types, heavy cutting options and defect identification to assess what can be rectified and how. Interiors are explored in greater depth with higher yield services with 'dry' steam cleaning, odour removal, leather protection and treatment, and stain removal with the associated chemistry. You'll learn how to set stones in silver clay, as well as how to create filigree and patina your pieces. You've been playing with silver clay for a while now, and you're feeling confident in your current skills. You have a vision in your head of what you want to create, but you don't know how to make it come to life. This is a great opportunity for intermediate jewellery makers who want to take their skills to the next level—or for those who are just starting out and want some guidance from an expert.

Join Daniel Docherty and master stone-mason Nicholas G. Durnan for this week-long course where participants will learn the principles of Order in Space through a deep study and immersion in the five platonic solids. Daniel will lead the first two days where we will familiarise and befriend the forms as we draw, model and weave them in various ways and at various scales. The focus of the Thurs/Fri/Sat sessions will be on the carving of the forms in stone. It is likely that particpants will be able to carve a full set of all five 'Platonic' solids.

Egg tempera has been practiced by artists for over two thousand years. It is one of the most durable and beautiful paints in the history of art. Students will discover how master practitioners of this art form prepared their pigments from the earth, rocks and plants and mixed with egg yolk to make their tempera paint.

2-hour Vision Board creation workshop for those who enjoy a mindful creative process.

Come along and make three attractive willow bird feeders. One to fill with fat balls, one for seeds and a hanging bird table. These make great additions to your garden or thoughtful handmade gifts.
