Want a chill day with friends? Enjoy our Art Jamming workshop, paint and drinks! No stress. You don't have to be the Picasso. About the event During the art jamming workshop, you are free to paint with the provided materials. Some painting guidance will be provided if necessary. It’s a good time for you and your friends to gather and enjoy the painting in freestyle, chit-chat with drinks. - Each session is 1.5 hrs (within 2 hours). -You own your art piece after the workshop. -Soft drinks, Coffee, hot chocolate and tea are provided. -No experience is needed. All the materials are provided such as paint brushes, acrylic paints, A3 canvas and easel. -Private group sessions are available by reservation ( 8- 10 people). Would you love to learn how to make beautiful quilts and home decor but weren't sure where to start? Can you sew a straight stitch on a sewing machine? If the answer is 'yes' to any of the above, then this beginner workshop is for you! In this beginner-friendly sewing workshop, you'll learn from a how to use the sewing machine to create your own Patchwork Quilted Cushion You will sew 5-inch squares together to form a pieced cushion front in a layout of your choosing. You will learn how to piece (baste) the 3 layers together, patchwork top, wadding layer and backing, then quilt all three layers together to make your cushion front. You will finish by making an envelope-style back to complete your cushion Don't worry if you've never tried quilting or patchwork before, as you'll have all the help and support you need , along with plenty of tea, coffee and cake to keep you going. You'll leave the class with your gorgeous cushion cover, along with all the skills you've learned during this fun and friendly sewing workshop. All materials and equipment will be provided and you will go home with a finished 42x42cm patchwork and quilted cushion. A 42x42cm cushion insert will be needed for your finished cover. You can bring this with you to the class if you wish.  Plenty of tea and coffee will be served throughout the workshop along with freshly baked cake. We won't have a formal lunch break but please feel free to bring a packed lunch which you can keep in our fridge

Bring your jewellery making to the next level with our Silver Clay Workshop! You can learn how to set stones in silver clay, as well as how to create filigree and patina your pieces. You've been playing with silver clay for a while now, and you're feeling confident in your current skills. You have a vision in your head of what you want to create, but you don't know how to make it come to life. This is a great opportunity for intermediate jewellery makers who want to take their skills to the next level—or for those who are just starting out and want some guidance from an expert.

Hand embroidery has been practiced for centuries and remains a hugely popular and fulfilling craft today.  As with most crafts, hand embroidery is wide and varied in technique, style and usage.  Traditional crewel embroidery, fine and delicate silk work, contemporary mixed media or modern folk art to name just a few.

New for 2020, this fun workshop will aim to move you on from “in-the-ditch” quilting and from quilting straight lines. Using a variety of techniques we will work on quilting common patchwork shapes to find a style and method that suits you best. This workshop is aimed at those with some quilting experience who are keen to move their skills on in a completely new direction. However, it is suitable for all abilities as full tuition and hand-holding will be provided on the day.

If you have ever struggled to wrestle a quilt under your sewing machine, then this is the workshop for you! Come along and consider 3 ways of joining your blocks that allow you to quilt each block separately, prior to final assembly of your quilt. This is perfect for beginners and can be used to make a double-sided quilt.
