Mix a gorgeous selection of flowers, fillers and foliage using the 'spiralling' technique used by the pros to make your bouquet and gain lots of flower hacks, tips and tricks along the way. We finish by tying, wrapping and presenting and you'll leave with your floral creation to enjoy at home and the ability to do it all again.

Our workshop packages are perfect for groups looking for an alternative activity to take part in as part of a corporate event, team building exercise, stag or hen do, birthday party, Christmas party or any other occasion you’d like to embellish with a unique creative spin.  Below is a list of ‘off the shelf’ workshops and packages we currently offer however each of these can be customised to suit your needs. So if you like the look of tie due but also want to give t-shirt printing a go drop us an email and we’ll do our best to make it happen. Similarly if you’d like any of these experiences to come to you please get in touch as a selection of our equipment is portable. Booking a workshop as a group would give you a discount price as well. If you are more than 5 people, you can get it from 50£ per person (regular price 75£) for our usual 6h workshop. Private tuition usually takes place during the week. Please contact Anna to check availability prior to purchasing your tuition time. One hour’s private jewellery making tuition from Anna at The Studio (if this is your first session then it must be for a minimum of two hours). Use of all the tools and equipment at The Studio are included. Materials charged extra, or you are welcome to buy your own in advance. I recommend using either Cooksongold or Betts Metals for this.

A fully customised lesson for those who would like to either learn new sewing/mending techniques and/or improve on existing skills. 

With this 2 hour workshop, you will learn to make your own lampshade. You can choose from our wide range of over 1400+ fabrics to make a lampshade. You can match this to your home decor if you so wish.

Based on this colour analysis we can create a capsule wardrobe using your existing pieces and follow your colour chart to purchase matching items in future. Whatever fashion dictates, buying less and more consciously will reduce waste, save money and creates a wonderful wardrobe you can be proud of! The analysis is based on inherited tones as well as personality. Based on 4 seasons: spring and autumn being warm and summer and winter cool in the colour spectrum.

Personalised one-to-one workshops to help you learn to crochet, tackle a tricky pattern or just learn a new crochet technique. It could be amigurumi, a garment, granny squares or Tunisian crochet.

Sometimes you just need a bit of help with something specific that you’re working on at home. Perhaps you have something that just won’t solder or you’d like some advice on pricing your work. Maybe you can’t decide which tools and equipment you need to buy to set up your own studio, or you even need some help with web site design?  Anna has a BA(Hons) degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing from the prestigious Birmingham School of Jewellery (if you watched the recent series of All That Glitters on TV, it’s that place!) and Post Graduate Certificate in Education, but its the 20+ years of practical experience in making jewellery, teaching others and running a business that’s really important! Francesca Wyllie (BA Hons Fine Art) has an amazing north-facing art studio at El Retiro in Andalucia, which was purpose-built to accommodate painting groups. Bespoke painting and sculpture workshops can be arranged or Francesca can travel locally to guide you in your own studios or locations.

Learn the basics of how to use your sewing machine** Join our group class and learn how to confidently use your sewing machine. We will teach you things like threading your machine, some basic terminology and how to achieve good tension.  This is a great foundation for developing your sewing skills and creativity whilst having fun! **We recommend that you bring your sewing machine to learn on as all machines are slightly different.
