A fun creative workshop full of colour for any level and perfect gift! Just bring your keepsake along and discover how you will use Barbola to create your piece of art?  Barbola which was a popular technique found in the 1930's. You may have seen these beautiful vintage pieces? This technique was often found on mirrors, trinket boxes, fire screens and cigarette holders. It was originally made from gesso in the shape of flowers, fruit and leaves. On the day you will learn how to make your own flowers and leaves using moulds and how to make your piece have the charm of the 1930's! We will need any dietary requirements as a luxury cream tea lunch with a pot of tea or fizz will be served.. whatever you prefer! This one day event includes small items for you to work on and materials to create and paint your Barbola like acrylic paints. You can also choose from the whole range of paint from Sophie James Decor. A relaxed and informal Blackwork Embroidery course in the lovely setting of a converted 18th Century cotton mill in Warwick Bridge, Carlisle. This course has been designed to guide the complete beginner or act as a refresher for those who may have dabbled in Blackwork embroidery in the past. We will cover the history, styles of Blackwork embroidery, threads and techniques.

Get together with friends and family and learn the art of building a beautiful hand-tied bouquet of the best seasonal flowers. Mix a gorgeous selection of flowers, fillers and foliage using the 'spiralling' technique used by the pros to make your bouquet and gain lots of flower hacks, tips and tricks along the way. We finish by tying, wrapping and presenting and you'll leave with your floral creation to enjoy at home and the ability to do it all again.

Westfield London Sunday 19th May 12pm See link below to book!  Childrens Pen Tie Dye T-shirt Upcycling – Good Fest (westfield.com) Workshop Description & Dates Tiptree, Essex Come along to this new family based workshop, adding colour and individuality to a used piece of clothing creating a non- messy Tie Dye effect!  This Workshop is to encourage younger people to get reuse creative on maybe a favourite piece of clothing like a cotton T'shirt, hoody or hat even a plain pillow case or duvet! Instead of throwing out a faded old T'shirt why not bring it back to life and personalise it using dyes, embellishment and a scissor upcycle by a no sew transformation!  This is a 2 hour workshop is suitable for the whole family, kids 7 years old and upwards must be accompanied by an adult.  T'shirts are included if needed! With this 2 hour workshop, you will learn to make your own lampshade. You can choose from our wide range of over 1400+ fabrics to make a lampshade. You can match this to your home decor if you so wish.

Based on this colour analysis we can create a capsule wardrobe using your existing pieces and follow your colour chart to purchase matching items in future. Whatever fashion dictates, buying less and more consciously will reduce waste, save money and creates a wonderful wardrobe you can be proud of! The analysis is based on inherited tones as well as personality. Based on 4 seasons: spring and autumn being warm and summer and winter cool in the colour spectrum.
